The fixing element can releasably fix the tubular element inserted via an insertion opening in the plug-in sleeve, and the release member cooperating with the fixing element in such a way that the fixing of the tubular element is released by an axial movement of the release member relative to the plug-in sleeve. The plug-in sleeve can include a sleeve portion formed of at least one wall element being formed by stamping and bending a metallic flat material portion into a bowl-shaped or circumferentially closed element. The fixing members can be formed by a plurality of claws or detents arranged circumferentially, by at least one rib, or fixed in the main body by shaping an edge region of the main body.

Abstract: A pipe coupling comprising a housing with a receiving space for a pipe section, with fixing members for releasably fixing the pipe section in the housing, and a sealing element which is arranged in the receiving space and is designed to surround the free end of the pipe section received in the receiving space on the outer circumferential side and thereby seal the interface between the housing and the pipe section in a fluid-tight manner. The pipe coupling is characterized in that the sealing element is designed in the form of a sleeve with a first and a second free end, in that a bulge is provided at the first free end, and in that a tubular section protrudes from the bulge and forms the second free end on the edge side.

Abstract: A method for stripping a part of a shielding foil of a sheathed cable includes the following steps: provide the sheathed cable with the shielding foil that has a predetermined breaking point running along a circumference of the shielding foil; bend a subarea of the sheathed cable with the shielding foil in a first direction to apply a tearing stress at the predetermined breaking point that tears the shielding foil on a part of the circumference of the shielding foil; move a first part of the sheathed cable in an elliptical, particularly circular, movement to apply the tearing stress across essentially the entire circumference of the shielding foil, so that the shielding foil tears at the predetermined breaking point across the entire circumference of the shielding foil; and remove from the sheathed cable the part of the shielding foil that was stripped from the sheathed cable.

Abstract: With a method for operating a transport system, used in the production of printed products composed of signatures or printed sheets, at least one first conveying belt is provided downstream of a printing press designed for producing the signatures or printed sheets. Further downstream, this conveying belt is divided into at least two individually operating conveying paths, wherein at the end of each of the conveying paths the transported signatures or printed sheets are supplied while positioned straddling and via a continuously operating folding device to at least one intermediate gathering device. For the further transport, the signatures or printed sheets are transferred from the gathering device in a serial, monotonous, intermittent, synchronous or non-synchronous sequence to a main conveying section. The signatures or printed sheets which are combined to form partial book blocks or complete book blocks are then wire-stapled, thread-stitched or bound with adhesive.

Abstract: A method for producing at least one printed product, the method including conveying the printed product to a processing apparatus, wherein the printed product includes a detectable identification code. The method further includes supplying the printed product to at least one tool of the processing apparatus and processing the printed product with the at least one tool. The multipage printed product is supplied with a signature or an individual sheet projecting from the multipage printed product to define a predetermined separating location between the projecting signature or individual sheet and an adjacent signature or sheet. The multipage printed product is opened at the predetermined separating location and then the opening is expanded. The supplement is thereafter inserted into the expanded separating location.

Abstract: With an arrangement for the timed processing of a book block, consisting of at least one printed sheet or at least one signature, a transfer device is arranged in-between the feed devices for the book blocks and the device for the further conveying of such a book block, wherein this transfer device supplies the book blocks to at least one other processing station. The transfer device is provided with a translation device for taking over or clamping in the book block, wherein this translation device executes at least one rotary or quasi-rotary translation movement. The translation device itself operates in at least two spatial dimensions for the transfer of the book block, wherein the translation movement occurs with a uniform or a changeable movement speed. The center axis for the translation device occupies an optional position in space, relative to the further processing station.

The printed sheets are then transversely folded and subsequently supplied either to an adhesive binding station or to a saddle-shaped conveying support for stitching with staples.

Abstract: A method for producing printed products with an arrangement including at least one printing press to produce book blocks, at least one conveying device to convey the book blocks, at least one processing device to provide each respective book block with a respective cover, and a control unit to control the production of the book blocks.
