  • Patent number: 6877708
Abstract: A stand for clamping rod-shaped parts has a foot part with a base plate and a seating region, which is formed by a wall contour with individual wall regions. The rod-shaped part is inserted with its lower end into the opening of the seating region and initially fixed by means of an arbor. Pivotable holding elements are placed against the rod-shaped part by means of a tensioning device. The holding elements are actuated by the tensioning device, which has a tensioning lever, a drum and a housing. A flexible connecting element, which pulls the holding element inward into the clamping position, is pulled together by means of the tensioning device. In order to introduce forces gently, the ends of the flexible connecting part are guided from the holding elements to the tensioning device in a special guiding block, which consists of a material which can be subjected to higher loads than can the material of the remaining foot part.

  • Patent number: 6820379
Abstract: A method and an apparatus are described for positioning and fixing beams, in particular made from wood, in particular for the construction of ground foundations, by means of at least one ground dowel. The ground dowel receives, in a retaining part, a ground dowel insert part which can be fixed therein and which possesses a retaining means, attached to a baseplate, for determining the position of the beam relative to the ground dowel insert part, the ground dowel insert part being fixed at least adhesively on the pressed-on beam. After the ground dowel, placed at the desired position and provided with the ground dowel insert part, has been adjusted to the desired height, the beam is pressed on to the retaining means in the desired position. The ground dowel insert part is fixed on the removed beam in accordance with the position determined by the retaining means, and the beam thus positioned, with the ground dowel insert part fixed thereon, is inserted into the retaining section of the ground dowel.

  • Publication number: 20040135042
Abstract: The invention relates to a stand for mounting bar-shaped parts (1) that comprises a stand element (2), which holds the bar-shaped part (1) upright, and a holding element (3) that can be tensioned via a tensioning device (4) for holding the bar-shaped part (1). Said stand also comprises and abutment (6) against which, for the purpose of mounting, the bar-shaped part (1) can be squeezed by the holding element (3). To this end, the abutment (6) has at least two bearing points (9, 10), which are interspaced in a vertical direction and against which the bar-shaped part (1) is placed. By placing, for example, against a U-profile (7), the abutment (6), which is provided in the form of a tubular segment, can be turned at least about an essentially horizontal axis. The tensioning device is connected to the stand element (2) via a base part (5).

  • Publication number: 20020005466
Abstract: The invention relates to a stand for clamping rod-shaped parts, in particular Christmas trees. The stand has a tensioning device and a holding device with a number of holding elements which can be pivoted from a holding position into a release position and are prestressed in the release position by respective springs. At least one force transmission element is provided, which is guided on the holding elements and can be tensioned by means of the tensioning device. The holding elements and/or the force transmission element are/is, at least in a region in which the force transmission element is guided on the holding elements, designed in such a manner that, when relative movement takes place between the holding elements and the force transmission element, the latter slides with reduced friction on the holding elements. The springs are integrated in the respective holding elements, and the holding elements consist of a slidable plastic.
