Reaction products formed from said products are also very useful for these purposes. Said products are preferably used as solutions in supercritical carbon dioxide.

Abstract: Silanes of the formula and novel polysiloxanes are described, the polysiloxanes being obtainable by reaction of polyorganosiloxanes with silanes of the above-indicated formula or with silanes of the formula The novel polysiloxanes thus obtained are useful in the treatment of textile fabrics composed of natural or synthetic fibers and other uses.

Abstract: Internal softness and surface smoothness are obtainable for textiles on treating them with a composition containing amino-functional polyorganosiloxanes. The composition may be prepared by simply mixing two separately prepared polysiloxane emulsions. Each emulsion contains an amino-functional polyorganosiloxane having a certain minimum content of nitrogen. One of the two separately prepared emulsions is a macroemulsion, the other a microemulsion.

Abstract: Described are polysiloxane compositions that are obtainable in 2 steps. The first step comprises reacting a linear organopolysiloxane which contains Si—H bonds with a compound that has a terminal C═C double bond and a polyoxyalkylene chain. This reaction is carried out in such a way that Si—H bonds are still present in the resultant product. The second step comprises adding a base or water and an acid to the resultant product. The hydrophilic properties of the resultant polysiloxane compositions can be influenced in a specific manner. The compositions are useful for treating fiber materials, especially textile fabrics. The effects obtained are notable for good durability. Further groups may be incorporated into the polysiloxanes to open up further applications.
