  • Patent number: 9010506
Abstract: The invention relates to a vibration absorber for damping mechanical vibrations of a structure capable of vibration at least in some portions. The vibration absorber comprises at least two rod-shaped vibrating elements, which each have a longitudinal axis, and a support module. The support module comprises at least two non-parallel support plates and an attachment device. In this case, for the purpose of attaching the vibration absorber to the structure, the attachment device is constructed in such a way that mechanical vibrations of the structure can be passed into at least a first of the support plates. The support plates are interconnected in such a way that the mechanical vibrations can be transferred from the first support plate to a second of the support plates. A first vibrating element is coupled at a first position along the longitudinal axis of the first vibrating element to the first support plate.
