  • Patent number: 11924670
Abstract: A method is provided by a central-unit-control plane (CU-CP) of a network node for exchanging information with a central-unit user plane (CU-UP) of the network node to manage Quality of Service (QoS) flows for the optimization of radio resources. The method includes transmitting, to the CU-UP, a request for flow information for at least one QoS flow and receiving, from the CU-UP of the network node, the flow information for the at least one QoS flow. Based on the flow information for the at least one QoS flow, at least one action is taken.

  • Publication number: 20220377763
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for scheduling transmissions to and/or transmissions from user equipment. The user equipment communicates with a network via a first radio processing function (RPF) and a second RPF. The method includes determining a first aggregate bit rate for the UE. The method provides for sending to the first RPF first aggregate bit rate information (ABRI) for the UE. The first ABRI: 1) indicates that the first aggregate bit rate satisfies a bit threshold condition, 2) indicates that the first aggregate bit rate does not satisfy the condition, or 3) identifies the determined first aggregate bit rate for the UE.

  • Patent number: 11457383
Abstract: A method performed by a control node for handling communication of data of one or more wireless devices in a wireless communications network. The control node triggers a control process on radio access bearers (RAB) and identifies more than one RAB, to perform the control process on, for at least one wireless device. The control node further bundles control information associated with the identified more than one RAB in a control signal; and provides to a process node, the control signal for the identified more than one RAB.

  • Patent number: 10165549
Abstract: It is provided a method for allocating a plurality of multimedia broadcast and multicast service, MBMS, sessions, the method being performed in one of a plurality of network nodes of an MBMS single frequency network. The method comprises the steps of: receiving an MBMS session event for one of the plurality of MBMS sessions; calculating a number of subframes needed within an allocation period to transmit the plurality of MBMS sessions of the single frequency network based on a guaranteed bitrate and quality of service, QoS, associated with each one of the MBMS sessions and a modulation and coding scheme, MCS, that is set for each QoS; determining a subframe pattern for the subframes within the allocation period; allocating the plurality of sessions within the subframe pattern according to a predetermined order, based on a guaranteed bitrate and; and transmitting a result of the allocating.

  • Publication number: 20170245489
Abstract: A trap for catching small animals includes a stand and a clamp journaled therein, which form an adapted first position may be brought to swing to a second position, killing the animal by lifting of a cap above a container by the animal. The trap is especially designed such that the cap has to be turned upwards by such an angle ?, that an animal reaches a bait. This angle ? is suitably about 25 degrees.

  • Patent number: 6912590
Abstract: A telecommunications platform has a cluster of processors which collectively perform a platform processing function. Plural processors of the cluster have Internet Protocol (IP) capabilities and respective plural IP interfaces. The plural processors of the cluster all have a same IP address. An Internet Protocol (IP) handler distributed throughout the cluster renders the IP interfaces of the plural processors of the cluster exchangeable so that knowledge of which one of the plural processors of the cluster is hosting an IP software application being accessed is unnecessary when selecting one of the plural IP interfaces for connecting to the cluster.

  • Patent number: 6834037
Abstract: The method and arrangement according to the present invention relate to communication networks using ATM-(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) connections for data transmission, particularly ATM-connections adapted for transmission of, e.g., IP-packets. Transmission of IP-packets via an IP-link in an ATM-based communication network is done by a link function block that is implemented between IP-level and ATM-level. The function block includes selector for selecting an operative ATM-connection, which is assigned to said IP-link, monitor for monitoring the operability of selected ATM-connections and re-selector for reselecting a redundant ATM-connection if one of the assigned connections is detected to be inoperative.

  • Patent number: 6480492
Abstract: To form internal control paths in an ATM node (20, 120), “half trails” (HF) are initially established and subsequently connected to form complete trails (FT). In an ATM node having plural node entities (30, 130) or device boards connected to a switch core (24, 124), for each node entity a main control path program (70) executed by a node main processor () initially forms both a listening half trail and a sending half trail extending from the node main processor and switch core. Separately and independently, i.e., without prior communication with the node main processor, an entity control path program (80) executed by an entity processor (50, 150) at each node entity establishes a listening half trail between itself and the switch core. For each node entity, the entity control path program establishes the same VPI/VCI as the listening half trail. The entity processor then receives on its independently established listening half trail (i.e., on the predetermined VPI/VCI) a handshaking request.
