  • Publication number: 20230377707
Abstract: A system for medication delivery includes: a medication dispensing device arranged to deliver a medication package containing a predefined dose of medication to a patient at a preset time; a medication distribution system arranged to distribute the medication packages containing the predefined doses of medication to the medication dispensing device; at least one sensing arrangement arranged in the same premises as the medication dispensing device and arranged to measure at least one patient specific parameter for said patient; at least one processor arranged to process the at least one patient specific parameter and notify the medication distribution system if the at least one patient specific parameter is determined to deviate from an expected range. The medication distribution system may accordingly adjust the dose of medication distributed to the medication dispensing device.

  • Publication number: 20220175619
Abstract: A medication delivery apparatus, including: a housing configured to accommodate a strip of medication packages in its interior and having an outlet for outputting medication packages from the interior of the housing; a lid of the housing configured to enable access to the interior of the housing; and an electronically controllable lock mechanism positioned in the interior of the housing and configured to lock the lid in a closed position. The apparatus is configured such that the lock mechanism is configured to be controlled from the exterior of the housing by a control device.

  • Patent number: 9414994
Abstract: The invention pertains to a time-controlled dispensing device comprising at least a tray and a cover, which may be lockable, for example via snap fitting, for consecutive dispensing of doses of medicaments. The device comprises a desired number of storage compartments and/or cartridges, for example disposable cartridges, each containing a predetermined dose of one or several medicaments. The tray is fitted with a transporting means for displacing the tray to a position where a desired compartment and/or cartridge will be in the only dispensing position suitable for removal of the dose, as a response to a signal from a timing means. The timing means is connected to a reminder and/or an alarming means, directed to the person using the device and a person at a distance, respectively. By way of the alarming means, removal of doses is indicated, for example through the manipulation of a lever or a hatch, and a signal may be sent for example via GSM or via the internet.

  • Patent number: 7394355
Abstract: A collision prevention detector (22), and a method therefor, to be mounted on a vehicle (10), transmits a sequence of transmissions of IR signals. The signals are transmitted in sequences alternating between at least one at the right and to the left positioned LED (24, 26, 34, 36), when both signals provide a return/reflected signal to IR-receiver an object (12) is determined as present within the area/zone from the point where the transmitted signals intersect/cross. Sequencing of signals makes it possible to position a return signal from an object (12), as one of the signals has to confirm the other signal to provide a warning signal. Moreover, a first set of LED's detects objects in a near-field zone (40) of the vehicle, and a second set detects objects beyond the first field in a far-field zone (42), whereby at least two sets of the LED's are positioned to the right and to the left.

  • Patent number: 6744353
Abstract: A warning device for mounting onto a vehicle, in order to attract the attention of the driver when another vehicle (2) or object is located in a position that is wholly or partially critical for the driver. The device comprises two sources (5, 6) of laser radiation arranged at a distance from each other, a convex lens (8) arranged outside of each source and a position-sensitive radiation detector (7) arranged between the sources (5, 6). The device reacts with different levels of warning signals on the detection of direction indicator (58), angular deviation (60) of a wheel or the steering wheel, speed (62), etc., in combination.
