  • Publication number: 20210373728
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are directed to a graphical user interface (GUI) for efficiently managing and organizing data items. The GUI utilizes machine learning-based clustering techniques that cluster data items into different clusters. The GUI displays each cluster as a user-selectable UI element. Each UI element displays keywords that are representative of the associated data items. The GUI enables the user to merge clusters together by interacting with the UI elements. For instance, the user may drag and drop one UI element over another UI element to combine the associated clusters. The GUI also enables a user to selectively associate certain Web pages of one cluster with another cluster. For instance, the GUI enables the user to move a keyword from one UI element to another UI element. The data items associated with that keyword are moved to the cluster represented by the other UI element.

  • Patent number: 10730862
Abstract: The present invention relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins that are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds of the present invention. In particular, the present invention is directed to compounds, which contain on one end a VHL ligand that binds to the ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety that binds a target protein, such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. The present invention exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with compounds of the present invention, consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides.

  • Patent number: 8333319
Abstract: Tokens containing a unique identification code that allow admission or access to entertainment or personal services are sold and distributed. A seller-distributor node on a global computer network affects transactions that exchange tokens for payment. The tokens represent remittance for services provided by a plurality of service providers. For each token obtained through the seller-distributor node, the system allows a variable rate of redemption at the plurality of service providers upon use by the token (ticket) holder. The token (ticket) holder/user selects which one of the plurality of service providers to request remittance for services at the respective service provider's rates. Different rates exist for a same or equivalent service across at least some of the service providers. Rendering of the token enables remittance for service by the ticket holder/user selected service provider at the selected service provider rate.

  • Patent number: 8011449
Abstract: The present invention is directed at a pullhead/reamer for use in digging a hole in the ground; comprising a first end (22) shaped to receive a mandrel struts, connecting the first end to the second end, the struts defining a set of open flutes (48) therewithin; and a set of slurry jets (50); wherein when the pullhead/reamer is in use, the set of slurry jets release a pressurized liquid to mix with the ground producing a slurry which enters the pullhead/reamer via the open flutes.

  • Patent number: 7926706
Abstract: Systems and methods provide access to services. A base ticket value is determined based on a price range for a subject service. A ticket manager engine translates the price range into a ticket level. End users/ticket holders present the leveled ticket for redemption of the particular service from a participant's service provider. Tickets are redeemable for a particular service or experience such as concerts, sports events, theatrical shows, broadway shows, family events, golf courses, movie theaters, spas, etc., each at different levels. Tickets are thus redeemed at variable rates for equivalent services. An online distributor or portal in the primary and/or secondary market may employ the ticket manager engine and ticket leveling. As a result, the distributor offers/sells leveled tickets.

  • Patent number: 7861929
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a provision of access to services. A time delimited, multiple use ticket/admissions card is provided that controls admission to services offered by participating service providers. The ticket/admissions card is issued to a ticket holder, and the card is valid for a certain amount of uses, where each use should be completed during a certain period of time. The first use of the card, for example, should be completed within a first time period, and if the first use is not completed during this first time period, then the first use expires; the second use of the card should be completed within a second time period, and if the second use is not completed during this second time period, then the second use expires. In this way, the ticket/admissions card provides a time delimited, multiple use scheme to control allowed admittance to authorized services.

  • Publication number: 20100325058
Abstract: Techniques for organizational networking for improving efficiency of organizations at performing various organizational tasks are disclosed. A method of organizational networking automatically updates content in an organizational network based on roles of members within an organizational hierarchy. A technique for creating a new subnetwork based on hierarchies associated with existing organizational subnetworks is also disclosed. An advertising engine distributes ads from a partner entity to members of an organization by way of another member of the organization to avoid direct transmission of third party marketing materials to members. A single electronic calendar is provided for an entire organization and may be updated and shared with other organizations automatically based on roles of members. Techniques disclosed herein increase efficiency for organizations and usability of networking tools for members.

  • Patent number: 7337949
Abstract: One-time-use tickets containing a unique identification code that allow for prepayment of entertainment or personal services are distributed and sold. When a ticket is sold, it is activated by the seller notifying a ticket information manager of its sale, at which time the ticket's unique identification code is recorded by the ticket information manager. Part of the sale price is transferred by the vendor to an account maintained by a ticketing program manager. Ticket-holders present the ticket for redemption of the particular service from an agreed service provider. The service provider verifies the ticket's validity by checking with the ticket information manager that the ticket's unique identification code is valid and that the ticket has been activated.
