  • Publication number: 20230339142
Abstract: A power tool for processing a substrate, the power tool being designed for analyzing a composition of the substrate and including at least one recorder for recording an operating parameter of the power tool. A method for analyzing a composition of a substrate that is being processed by a proposed power tool is also provided. The analysis of the composition of the substrate takes place on the basis of the at least one recorded operating parameter which is recorded with the recording means, the analysis being performed in the power tool itself and during its operation.

  • Publication number: 20230311217
Abstract: A method for releasing a screw connection between a core drilling device and a drill bit, wherein the screw connection is released by application of torque spikes to the drive shaft of the core drilling device, these torque spikes coming into effect when the drive shaft is driven counter to the actual drilling direction of the core drilling device. A core drilling device with which the proposed method can be carried out is also provided. To this end, the core drilling device includes a drive shaft to which torque spikes can be applied, wherein the drive shaft can be driven in a drilling direction and a second direction of rotation which is opposite to the drilling direction.

  • Publication number: 20230311260
Abstract: A power tool system and to a method for connecting a vacuuming device to a power tool. The system comprises a power tool having a tool, a vacuuming device for extracting dust that arises when working with the power tool, and a suction connection device, wherein the suction connection device is arranged between the tool of the power tool and the power tool and is connectable to the power tool in that a toothing of the power tool is able to be engaged with a mating toothing on the suction connection device. The present invention advantageously makes it possible for a suction hose that connects the vacuuming device and the suction connection device of the power tool system together to be able to be fixed relative to a handle of the power tool. Furthermore, an angle between the suction hose and the handle of the power tool can be set particularly easily.

  • Patent number: 10996828
Abstract: An electronic device may have multiple users and multiple customized user interfaces for each user resulting in a large number of user customized UI dashboard configurations. However, defining these user customized UI dashboard configurations is performed by each user such that addition and/or replacement of software applications requires users to reconfigure customized UI dashboards. Similarly, organization generated dashboards must be configured on each user device. It would be beneficial for such user customized UI dashboard configurations to be updateable in response to information provided during new software installation, software upgrades, etc. or for UI dashboard configurations to be adjusted absent any such update/upgrade. It would also be beneficial for context rules to be adaptable based upon learned behavior or external adjustments just as it would be beneficial for the context rule engine to automatically identify new potential rules as a result of current and previous behavior.

  • Publication number: 20190116094
Abstract: Electronic devices have become ubiquitous providing users with dynamically adaptive applications and user interfaces. An electronic device may have multiple user customized interfaces which is further amplified by multiple users for the same electronic device, each having multiple user customized UI dashboard configurations. Accordingly, replacement of the electronic device or addition of another electronic device requires that the users expend significant effort generating these user customized UI dashboard configurations again. It would therefore be beneficial for such user customized UI dashboard configurations to be archived and accessible to a user upon such events as replacement or acquisition. It would also be beneficial for enterprises to be able to provide a user with context sensitive dashboards as part of their customer engagement.

  • Publication number: 20090193475
Abstract: Systems and methods for deploying video content in a video player which enables context-specific actions and policies may comprise a video player operating in a web browser which receives a policy file or a hierarchy of policy files describing specific actions, such as displaying a text, image, link, or video, to be taken when a certain element is encountered or a condition is satisfied in a video. The video player may then receive a video and an accompanying cue file which describes elements within the vide. As the video player plays the video, the player processes the cue file and takes any actions dictated by corresponding policies. In this manner, individual video content may separated from policy decisions such as when to show links or advertisements, and related content to display.
