  • Patent number: 10344143
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing resistance to phenolic yellowing, during storage, transportation and processing of polyamide articles, caused by the presence of phenolic compounds in plastic package materials. The phenolic yellowing resistance is obtained by adding a sulfonated reagent during polymerization of the polyamide and/or during the formation of the polyamide article, like melt-spinning extrusion, and/or during the conversion of the polyamide article by texturizing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 1, 2015
Date of Patent: July 9, 2019
Assignee: RHODIA POLIAMIDA E ESPECIALIDADES S.A.

  • Publication number: 20180148862
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyamide fiber with enhanced dyeing properties. The polyamide fiber is suitable for low-temperature dyeing and shorter dyeing cycle. The present invention also discloses a method for obtaining such a fiber. The polyamide fiber is obtained by blending at least a polyamide 5.X, X being an integer from 4 to 16 with an aliphatic polyamide during the melt-spinning extrusion of the polyamide fiber. The blended polyamide fiber and articles made therefrom can be dyed at a lower temperature than the usual boiling temperature, and the dyeing time is half of the time of a normal dyeing cycle. The dyed polyamide fiber and article also show enhanced fastness to washing and perspiration.

  • Patent number: 9814798
Abstract: The subject of the present invention is yarns, fibers or filaments and also a textile article and a medical device obtained from said yarns, for improving skin cicatrization, in particular by activating collagen synthesis at the surface of the injured skin. The yarns, fibers or filaments of the invention comprise a polymeric matrix and inorganic fillers, uniformly dispersed in the polymeric matrix, having properties of absorption and/or of emission in the 2-20 ?m far-infrared region.

  • Patent number: 9492373
Abstract: A cosmetic composition is described that includes particles of a polymeric composition that includes a polymer matrix and one or a plurality of mineral filler(s), uniformly dispersed in the polymer matrix, having properties of absorption and/or emission in the far infrared region ranging from 2 ?m to 20 ?m. The particles of the polymeric composition can be dispersed in a carrier fluid including water and/or one or a plurality of organic fluids. The composition is, for example, intended to prevent or reduce the signs of skin aging.
