  • Publication number: 20220196384
Abstract: An optical component for an attenuated total reflection interferometric imaging device, which includes: a planar waveguide, especially delimited by a front face and a rear face parallel to each other; an injection zone, comprising two input facets, each extending from a side face of the planar waveguide, configured to separate an initial light beam into two sub-beams each deflected in a respective direction when they enter the planar waveguide; and an extraction zone, including two output facets, configured to receive the two sub-beams, and to deflect the same when they exit the planar waveguide, the optical component being configured so that the two sub-beams can interfere with each other after emerging out of the planar waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20220196901
Abstract: An optical component for an interferometric imaging device, which comprises: an object arm, including a first planar waveguide and a first diffraction grating formed in the first planar waveguide and capable of extracting light from the object arm; a reference arm, comprising a second planar waveguide and a second diffraction grating formed in the second planar waveguide and capable of extracting light from the reference arm; wherein the optical component is configured such that, in use with an optically reflective surface extending parallel to the plane of the optical component between the object arm and the reference arm, at least part of the light extracted from the object arm interferes with at least part of the light extracted from the reference arm.

  • Publication number: 20220146402
Abstract: A particle detector includes at least one resonant cavity partially formed at least by a first reflector, a second reflector disposed at a distance from the first reflector and a channel located between the first and second reflectors, the channel being intended to receive at least one fluid comprising particles and to receive at least one light radiation; and at least one detection system having at least one photodetector. The particle detector is configured so that a portion of the light radiation present in the channel escapes from the cavity throughout the second reflector and reaches the detection system, thereby enabling the at least one photodetector to detect leakage of the cavity. The second reflector is a photonic crystal membranes PCM based reflector.

  • Publication number: 20220091018
Abstract: An optical particle detector including at least one channel intended to receive a fluid carrying at least one particle, and across which light rays are intended to pass such that the light rays are partially scattered by the at least one particle, a plurality of photodetectors capable of receiving said scattered light rays, wherein the detector includes at least one optical waveguide configured to collect, at least at one entrance of the waveguide, light rays that were not scattered by the at least one particle and having crossed the channel, and to reinject the unscattered light rays into the channel through at least one exit of the waveguide.

  • Patent number: 11221289
Abstract: An optical detector for particles is provided, including: a channel configured to receive a fluid including at least one particle and to receive at least one incident light ray; a detection system including a plurality of photodetectors, each photodetector being configured to receive light rays coming from the channel and diffused by the at least one particle; and an angular filtering system including a plurality of angular filtering devices each associated with a photodetector of the plurality of photodetectors, each angular filtering device being configured to angularly filter the light rays coming from the channel before reception thereof by the photodetector with which it is associated.

  • Publication number: 20210377464
Abstract: A light distribution device, for distributing light rays from an ancillary light source onto a scene to be lighted. The device includes a planar waveguide, a recess in the planar waveguide for injecting light rays into the planar waveguide, and a through opening in the planar waveguide for extracting light rays from the planar waveguide. In this way, light can be distributed over a large area, homogeneously and with a thin, easily manufactured device.
