  • Patent number: 11441581
Abstract: In a hydraulic system, such as for a tractor or other agricultural vehicle, a main supply pump supplies fluid to a steering system through a steering circuit and a second pump supplies fluid to a cooling fan motor. The second pump is connected with the steering circuit to provide a second a source of fluid to the steering system when the main supply pump is unable to meet demand. A prioritization valve regulates the flow of fluid from the second pump to the motor. The second pump acts as a secondary pump for the steering system and drives a cooling fan.

  • Patent number: 10760594
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit provides relief pressure operation for a lift cylinder and/or top cylinder in an implement linkage of a utility vehicle. A relief pressure control valve has a first position providing a connection between a variable displacement pump and one side of the hydraulic cylinder, and a second position providing a connection between that side of the hydraulic cylinder and a drain or reservoir. A connection carries an indication of the pressure in the hydraulic cylinder chamber as a load-sensing signal to control adjustment of the pump.

  • Patent number: 10436084
Abstract: A cooling system for a utility vehicle comprises a first fluid circuit including a first fluid such as hydraulic oil and a second fluid circuit including a second fluid such as a coolant or lubricant. A heat exchanger couples the first and second fluid circuits enabling transfer of heat from one of the first and second fluids to the other. A fluid cooler in the first fluid circuit has a fan arranged to direct an airflow towards it, which fan is a hydraulically driven device connected in the first fluid circuit and driven by flow of the first fluid.
