  • Patent number: 10865590
Abstract: A method for detecting the approach and/or contact of a user's hand close to a motor vehicle door handle. The handle including: an electrode having a capacitance, and a device for measuring the variation in capacitance, a low-frequency antenna situated close to the electrode, the emissions of the low-frequency antenna bringing about disturbances in the operation of the device for measuring the variation in the capacitance. The method proposes that a new adaptive approach detection threshold be calculated, depending on an average of the previous measured variations in the capacitance, calculated over a predetermined time interval, the measured variations being weighted by a factor depending on a difference between each measured variation and the average of the variations calculated previously over a previous predetermined time interval, the approach detection being confirmed if the measured variation is higher than the new adaptive threshold.

  • Patent number: 10847998
Abstract: A device for a handle able to be deployed in relation to a motor vehicle door. The device includes a primary module integrated into the door, supplying power, through inductive coupling, to a secondary module integrated into the handle and that moves in relation to the primary module along a predetermined path when the door handle moves between a deployed position and a retracted position. An advantageous arrangement of two primary coils of the primary module and of a secondary coil of the secondary module allows the device to estimate the position of the door handle. Furthermore, the device makes it possible to establish a wireless communication link between the primary module and the secondary module.

  • Patent number: 10790581
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a sensor having an ultra-high-frequency antenna printed on a receiving area on a first face of a printed circuit board. The first face of the board is inserted into a first housing portion with a seal and a compression element, the seal surrounding the receiving area while a first space remains free in the portion. A second face of the board is inserted into a second housing portion and the portions are pressed together, a second space remaining free. Then, polyurethane is injected into the first and second spaces, the seal preventing the polyurethane from penetrating into the receiving area.
