    Abstract: The invention relates to a process and system for obtaining the maximum power from an assembly of photovoltaic cells. According to the invention, the D.C. power furnished by said assembly is converted, with the aid of a converter controlled by a modulated signal, into an A.C. power, and the value of the rate of modulation corresponding constantly to the maximum power, is determined for example with the aid of a microprocessor. The invention is applicable to the generation of solar energy with coupling on the network of a converter.
