  • Patent number: 6830171
Abstract: A padding element for the dorsal side of a diver's bottle-supporting backpack. The padding element comprises a padded cushion capable of being fitted against the back part of the backpack and having at its lower edge a padded cushion part hinged to it and capable of being either folded upwards, in order to increase the total thickness, and hence the padding action of the cushion over the diver's sacrococcygeal region, or unfolded downwards to give the diver extended protection beyond the lower edge of the bottle or bottles attached to the backpack.

  • Publication number: 20040005826
Abstract: Buoyancy control jacket for underwater activity provided with an inflatable bag having two arms in the shape of a U or a horseshoe made up of an outer bag and an inner air tube. In the vicinity of the ends of the two arms of the outer bag of the jacket there are two relatively short openings that extend approximately along the directrices of the said outer bag, each opening having a robust zip giving access to the interior of the said jacket. Advantageously, the said openings extend along a region located between the ends and the centre line of the lateral arms of the jacket, on the rear part of the jacket.

  • Publication number: 20040005196
Abstract: Balancing jacket for diving activities equipped with integrated packing system for its transport. Onto two areas symmetrically opposed with respect to the middle of the back portion of the jacket cooperating connecting means are applied, which connect said portions in an easily engageable and releasable way. The invention also relates to a method for packing a balancing jacket for diving activities by means of an integrated wrapping system, comprising the following steps: (a) tidily folding the components of the jacket on the front side; (b) assembling said elements as a package by pulling said complementary connecting means on the back portion of the jacket, and (c) firmly connecting said complementary connecting means, thus forming a compact package or assembly.
