  • Publication number: 20240392732
Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine including a combustion chamber which is connectable to a charge air supply and to a supply for fuel. An exhaust gas system receives the combusted air from the combustion chamber and supplies it at least partially to an exhaust gas turbocharger, wherein fuel can be introduced into the exhaust gas system via a metering valve. The method includes: (i) supplying fuel and charge air to the combustion chamber, wherein more oxygen is present in the combustion chamber than can react with the fuel, (ii) igniting the air/gas mixture in the combustion chamber, (iii) discharging the burned-off mixture (exhaust gas) into the exhaust gas system, (iv) supplying fuel to the exhaust gas flowing from the combustion chamber, (v) igniting the fuel in the exhaust gas, and supplying the fuel to the exhaust gas turbocharger.

  • Publication number: 20240374501
Abstract: A process for treating keratinous material, comprising providing an agent (a) comprising: at least one amino-functionalized silicone polymer, and at least one cosmetic oil, which is liquid at 20° C. and which is different from, providing an agent (b), comprising water and/or at least alkylene glycol of formula (AG). The method further comprises preparing an application mixture by mixing agents (a) and (b), applying the application mixture to the keratinous material, allowing the application mixture applied to act on the keratinous material, and optionally rinsing the application mixture. A multi-component packaging unit which contains the agents (a) and (b) in two separately fabricated containers is also taught.

  • Patent number: 6232373
Abstract: The preparation and the use of pulverulent compositions consisting of (a) from 10 to 90% by weight of cellulose, (b) from 5 to 60% by weight of an alkali metal caseinate, and (c) from 5 to 85% by weight of a polymer c1) an N-vinyllactam polymer obtained by copolymerization of from 90 to 99.5% by weight of one or more N-vinyllactam monomers and from 0.5 to 10% by weight of a crosslinking monomer, or c2) a polymer obtained by copolymerization of from 50 to 99.5% by weight of at least one vinyl heterocyclyl monomer having a PKa of at least 3.8, from 0 to 49.5% by weight of another copolymerizable monomer and from 0.5 to 10% by weight of a crosslinking monomer, or c3) a mixture of the polymers c1) and c2). The compositions are used in the treatment of biological liquids of plant origin in an unfermented or partially or completely fermented state for sensory stabilization of the liquids with a view to preserving taste and color.
