The cap (18) comprises a high-voltage terminal (38, 40) electrically connected to the high-voltage winding of the coil and provided with a connection portion designed to receive a terminal (14) of the plug (10). A diode (26) is housed inside said cap (18) and is connected in series between two portions (38, 40) of said high-voltage terminal.
