  • Publication number: 20240217392
Abstract: A system and a method for controlling the charge of at least one aircraft battery, and more specifically, a system and method for simultaneously controlling the charge of aircraft batteries based at least on information from the at least one parameter of the batteries and information about the mission profile of the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20230158979
Abstract: An assembly for a vehicle comprising at least two battery blocks, each having a casing in which the battery block is enclosed and that has a connection face. The outer skin of the vehicle has an outlet orifice. There is a main duct connected to the outlet orifice. For each casing, an evacuation duct is connected between the connection face and the main duct. A damping unit is provided at the joint between each connection face and the evacuation duct. A damping unit is provided at the joint between the main duct and the outlet orifice. Each damping unit limits the amplitude of an overpressure propagating from the casing towards the outlet orifice. Such an assembly enables an overpressure to be damped in the event of a battery being damaged, inter alia.

  • Patent number: 11542033
Abstract: A dynamic runway illumination system, including a light source having an addressable light beam direction, and a control unit configured to receive aircraft attitude information and the orientation of the runway selected for takeoff or landing, obtain horizontal and vertical axes, the horizontal axis being collinear with the takeoff or landing longitudinal direction, determine the actual and the reference aircraft trajectories, obtain the actual and the reference vertical approach angles, and the actual horizontal approach angle, and actuate onto the light source to perform an angular movement in the light beam direction of an absolute value of the actual vertical approach angle minus the absolute value of the reference vertical approach angle about the vertical axis, and an angular movement of an absolute value of the actual horizontal approach angle about the horizontal axis, to vertically and horizontally align the beam of the light source towards the runway direction.

  • Patent number: 10269274
Abstract: A device for illuminating a vertical tail plane of an aircraft, comprising a matrix of LEDs or lasers, a laser diode with a diffractive optical element, an electronic board with a microcontroller, a power supply unit and a housing enclosing one or more of the matrix of LEDs, the laser diode, the electronic board and the power supply unit. The LEDs or lasers and the laser diode are individually and electronically controlled by the microcontroller, in such a way that the LEDs or lasers can be individually dimmed to create a dynamic illumination pattern on the side surfaces of the vertical tail plane. The illumination pattern is transmitted by the microcontroller. The laser diode with the diffractive optical element can create a fixed figure on the side surfaces of the vertical tail plane. An aircraft is provided with exterior illumination on its vertical tail plane, comprising such illumination devices.
