Abstract: In one general aspect, a computing device can include a base portion including an input region, a display portion, and a moving hinge coupled to the display portion. The moving hinge may be configured to rotate about an axis of rotation as the display portion rotates in a direction away from the input region. The computing device can also include a connecting rod coupled to the moving hinge and to the base portion. The moving hinge may be disposed at a first position with respect to the base portion. The moving hinge may be configured to move to a second position such that the axis of rotation is moved in response to the display portion being rotated in the direction away from the input region.

Abstract: Embodiments of an apparatus, system and method are described for a mobile computing device. A mobile computing device may comprise, for example, an enclosure arranged to support a display and one or more processor circuits, the enclosure having an enlarged portion at one side of the enclosure arranged to allow a user to clutch the enclosure with one hand at the one side, the enlarged portion having a thickness that is larger than a thickness of another portion of the enclosure, and the enlarged portion defining a cavity arranged to support one or more energy storage modules. Abstract: Technologies are provided in embodiments to provide a graphical user interface to navigate applications on a mobile device. At least one embodiment is configured to receive a request to display a rotatable menu of applications on a computing device and to generate the rotatable menu comprising a first set of one or more content cards, where at least one of the content cards of the first set represents at least one application in the computing device. The embodiment is also configured to provide the rotatable menu in a first orientation for display on the computing device. Embodiments may be configured to receive an indication of input to rotate the rotatable menu, rotate the rotatable menu to a second orientation, and cause, at least in part, actions that result in display of the rotatable menu in the second orientation.
