  • Patent number: 11600289
Abstract: The present document discloses a method for fading discontinued audio feeds for replay by a speaker. In particular, the method may first comprise receiving an input audio feed comprising a plurality of samples. The method may further comprise determining whether the input audio feed is discontinued. And, when discontinuity of the input audio feed is detected, the method may comprise generating an intermediate audio signal comprising a plurality of samples based on the discontinued input audio feed. In particular, the intermediate audio signal may be generated based on a last portion of the discontinued input audio feed that has been output for replay. In addition, the method may further comprise applying a fadeout function to the intermediate audio signal to generate a fadeout audio signal. Finally, the method may comprise outputting the fadeout audio signal for replay by the speaker.

  • Patent number: 11323766
Abstract: The present document describes a method (500) for providing combined audio and video content from a source device (210) to an audio sink device (230) and to a video sink device (220). The method (500) comprises determining (501) latency information regarding the video latency for processing the video content and the audio latency for processing the audio content of the combined audio and video content along the device chain (100) between the source device (210) and the audio and video sink devices (220, 230). Furthermore, the method (5009 comprises delaying (502) the audio content or the video content in dependence of the latency information, and providing (503) the combined audio and video content with the delayed audio content or the delayed video content.

  • Patent number: 9294207
Abstract: The broadcasting of audio contents by two loudspeakers is controlled by delivering a first audio content to the two loudspeakers and a further processing in which an auxiliary audio content is received. A second audio content is formed by temporally delaying the auxiliary audio content with a delay dependent on the spacing between the loudspeakers and on a distance between a first loudspeaker and a spot located in front of this first loudspeaker. The second audio content is delivered to the first loudspeaker. A third audio content is formed by inverting the auxiliary audio content. The third audio content is then delivered to the second loudspeaker.

  • Patent number: 7835627
Abstract: An embodiment improves the quality of sound rendition during restitution of sound and picture originating from a source signal exhibiting temporal drift. To restore the sound and the pictures at a selected fixed picture rate, a picture sequence is calculated at the selected rate on the basis of the pictures of the source signal, and the sound of the source signal is sampled so as to obtain a sampled sound signal having a selected number of sound samples per picture of the source signal. The calculated picture sequence and the sampled sound signal are restored in a manner synchronized with the reception of the source signal. The sampled sound signal is restored without a change of pitch, with an adjustment of timing as a function of the ratio between the selected picture rate and the variable picture rate.

  • Patent number: 6868091
Abstract: Apparatus for depacketizing and aligning packetized input data. Data processing means receives the input data via an input memory and detects, identifies and determines payload size of a data packet of the input data. The data processing means generates a payload size signal indicative of the size of the payload. A word formatter receives units of the payload from the input memory and gathers and aligns these to form data words. A payload counter controls flow of input data from the input memory to the word formatter in accordance with the payload size signal. An input buffer receives the data words from the word formatter, stores these and transfers them to the data processing means for effecting data processing.
