Abstract: In one embodiment, a data sharing platform performs a series of data operations to provide different types of data via different sharing services of the data sharing platform that are derived from data shared by a particular data owner. The data sharing platform generates tag data associated with the particular data owner for one or more of the series of data operations. The data sharing platform determines, based on the tag data, an attribution chain that links the data shared by the particular data owner to the different types of data provided via the different sharing services. The data sharing platform sends an indication of the attribution chain for display.

A redirect rule is invoked when a request is received from the mobile wireless device for world wide web access in order to obtain authentication for the mobile wireless device before permitting world wide web access. When a world wide web access request is received from the mobile wireless device, it is redirected to an authentication portal to allow a user of the mobile wireless device to enter user credentials to allow for world wide web access using the IP address.

Abstract: An adaptive feedback technique is described for a Mobile IP environment in which Mobile IP mechanisms provide early feedback to mechanisms in the transport layer and/or application layer of a mobile node in response to detection of changes in link characteristics of the communication used by the mobile node to communicate with a data network. Using the early feedback information, appropriate measures may then be taken in order to accommodate the changes in link characteristics. Such appropriate measures may include, for example, providing feedback to media aware applications in order to allow such applications to dynamically adjust their bandwidth requirements to accommodate the new link characteristics, modifying timeout parameters, modifying an encoding formats to accommodate the new link characteristics, notifying participants in a real-time application session of the detected changes in the link characteristics, etc.
