Abstract: A padlock includes a casing having a opening for receiving a cylindrical tumbler and a cylinder assembly. The cylinder assembly has a rotary cylinder capable of being turned by a key. The rotary cylinder has a paw adapted to abut a butt of the cylindrical tumbler and thus to turn the tumbler. The tumbler is configured to push a pair of balls into curved notches of a shackle and allow the balls to exit from the notches. Furthermore, the tumbler is provided with a detent positioned in an angular space between the paw and the butt, so as to prevent the paw of the rotary cylindrical from being turned relative to the butt of the cylindrical tumbler.

Abstract: A convertible lock structure includes a main body including a lock core received therein and a latch rod extending from an end thereof. The main body includes a transverse hole defined therein for receiving an end of a spring-biased control latch. A casing receives the main body and includes an end wall through which the latch rod extends. The casing further includes at least two positioning holes one of which is selected to receive the second end of the control latch. A second end of the control latch is operable by a proper key so as to move between a retracted position inside the main body which allows the main body to move in the casing and an extended position beyond the transverse hole to retain the main body in position.

Abstract: A lock device includes a body having a lock core mounted therein and a first hole. A casing is securely mounted around the body. The casing includes a second hole in alignment with the first hole of the body. A first side of the casing includes a rectangular slot defined therein and a side slot in communication with the rectangular slot. A hollow guiding member is securely attached to a second side of the casing and has a through hole in alignment with the first and second holes. The guiding member includes a non-linear guiding slot defined in a periphery thereof, the non-linear guiding slot including a section which extends in a direction having an angle with a longitudinal axis of the first and second holes. A latch rod extends through the first and second holes.

Abstract: An attachment device attaches a gearshift lock to a vehicle and includes a base plate fixed to the vehicle and a bar member for supporting the gearshift lock. The bar member includes a sleeve for rotatably engaging with a rod disposed on the base plate. A projection is extended from the rod for engaging with a notch of the sleeve so as to prevent the bar member from disengaging from the base plate. A screw may secure the sleeve to the rod so as to prevent the bar member from rotating relative to the base plate.

Abstract: A lock device for locking a gearshift stick of a vehicle so as to prevent the gearshift stick from being operated includes a base having two holes for receiving two legs of a shackle, two catches slidably received in the base for locking the shackle, and a lock engaged in the base and having two plungers for actuating the catches. A housing is fixed on the base and has two channels for receiving the shackle, two resilient members are disposed in the channels for engaging with the shackle so as to retain the shackle in place. The housing has a key hole access for inserting a key into the key hole of the lock, and a lid is pivotally coupled in the housing for enclosing the key hole access.

Abstract: A locking device for locking a steering wheel of a vehicle includes a stick having a frame fixed on the middle portion for engaging with the steering wheel of the vehicle, a notch is formed in the frame, and a block is slidably engaged on the stick and has a catch engageable with the stick so as to lock the stick in place, the block includes an extension engaged with the notch of the frame so as to lock the steering wheel in place.

Abstract: A padlock structured to have a key inserting direction perpendicularly to the shackle moving direction. The padlock has an outer housing with a hollow post extending from a side wall and the shackle extending from the top wall. The key is inserted sideways into a deadbolt contained in the post. The deadbolt operates two control members which engage and disengage notches in opposite limbs of the shackle.

Abstract: A locking arrangement for the gearshift stick of vehicles, having a housing provided with two openings formed by two shoulders, two locking plates and two ear plates for two legs of a shackle of a padlock to extend therein to lock the shackle immovable when the shackle is to be stored in the unlocked separated condition.
