Abstract: A system is configured to allow a business user to define insurance products based upon reusable product/offering definitions. The reusable product/offerings definitions may include reusable insurance based components and templates, which permit a business user of the software to develop and configure insurance products based upon a hierarchical set of insurance product components and insurance product templates. In addition, the system combines componentization, flexible granularity and reusable product structures to permit a user to more rapidly and predictably generate insurance product configurations and flexibly tailor the insurance products or offerings to meet a specific client or market need.

Abstract: A method of evaluating underwriting activities of a company providing insurance coverage is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of storing data related to the underwriting activities for the company; receiving information from employees related to tasks associated with the underwriting activities; analyzing the information from the employees; and generating a report based upon the information from employees. A system for evaluating underwriting activities for a company is also disclosed. The system comprising a user computer storing a program containing questions related to tasks for underwriting activities; a server coupled to the user computer to receive information entered by a plurality of users related to tasks for underwriting activities; and a report generated by the server and providing analyzed information related to responses of the plurality of users.

Abstract: A risk analysis system that takes an outcome oriented approach to analyzing risk assessment, training risk assessors as to best practices for assessing risk, and enabling monitoring of compliance with the best practices (the “System”) is presented herein. The goal of the System is to determine compliance of risk assessment processes with best practices in the past and into the future using various performance measures such as economic gain and lost cost opportunities, identify in which phase of the risk assessment life-cycle these performance measures are the greatest, and focus improvement, training and monitoring efforts on these risk assessment phases using a hands-on-based approach. The System includes a group of procedures, methodologies, questionnaires, software, hardware and analyses to analyze risk assessment processes by developing or improving best practices, providing training as to the best practices, and enabling the monitoring of compliance with the best practices.
