  • Patent number: 11102403
Abstract: An imaging device includes an imaging optical system configured to capture a plurality of images of an object; a sensor configured to detect a tilt of the imaging device with respect to a reference direction; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to set a fixed amount of correction to be commonly applied to the plurality of images, based on the detected tilt; and correct the tilt of each of the plurality of images using the fixed amount of correction.

  • Patent number: 11019262
Abstract: An image processing apparatus including a storage unit, a correction unit, and an output unit. The storage unit stores moving-image data including a plurality of frames captured by an image-capturing device communicable with the image processing apparatus, time-series data of an inclination angle with reference to a reference direction of the image-capturing device, and time-series data of an angle velocity of the image-capturing device. The correction unit, based on the time-series data of the angle velocity, rotates an image of each of the plurality of frames of the moving-image data to reduce a rotational distortion around the reference direction within a prescribed frequency range. The output unit outputs image data of the rotated image of each of the plurality of frames to an external device communicable with the image processing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9148568
Abstract: An image-stabilization apparatus is provided that includes an image stabilizer and a status-determining processor. The image stabilizer counterbalances a camera shake in accordance with sensor signals from a shake-detecting sensor. The status-determining processor determines whether a status of the camera is in a fixed state or in a unstable state on the basis of the signals. The status determination process is carried out at the time of exposure and the characteristics of an image-stabilizing operation are altered according to the results of the status determination process.
