  • Publication number: 20240088441
Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte rechargeable battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode has a sodium concentration of greater than 532 ppm and less than 71100 ppm. The non-aqueous electrolyte rechargeable battery includes a LiBOB equivalent. The LiBOB equivalent is lithium bis(oxalato)borate in the non-aqueous electrolyte or a substance formed when the lithium bis(oxalato)borate reacts with another substance. The non-aqueous electrolyte has a hypothetical concentration of the LiBOB equivalent of 0.35 wt % or greater and 0.56 wt % or less when an amount of the LiBOB equivalent is converted into a weight of the lithium bis(oxalato)borate.

  • Patent number: 7833375
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for butt-jointing edges of an elastic material sheet is disclosed. The elastic material sheet is supported such that the two edges to be butt-jointed are oppositely opposed. By moving a pair of counterrotating conical surfaces along the edges, the surfaces of the edges portions are drawn toward the center between the two edges so that the edges are butt-jointed. Between the conical surfaces, a small space is provided so as to form a small rib-like protrusion along the butt-joint. Then, the small rib-like protrusion of the elastic material is pressed down to flatten. Therefore, at the butt-joint interface, the elastic material irregularly interfuses to increase the strength of the butt-joint.

  • Publication number: 20100068011
Abstract: A pallet conveyance device has, besides a mechanism for moving a pallet for supporting a substrate, a lifting mechanism for vertically moving the pallet. The lifting mechanism has an impact cushioning mechanism for cushioning an impact applied to the substrate supported on the pallet. When an impact is applied to the substrate from the pallet, the impact cushioning mechanism controls a vertical motion of the lifting mechanism to cushion the impact applied to the substrate supported on the pallet. The impact cushioning mechanism is a mechanism that changes the drive speed of the lifting mechanism. The impact cushioning mechanism changes the drive speed to a low speed at at least either the start of operation of the lifting mechanism or before the end of the operation, and in a drive period excluding a low speed period, the impact cushioning mechanism changes the drive speed to a high speed.

  • Publication number: 20080104850
Abstract: An edge trimmer for an uncured elastomer strip being conveyed in the longitudinal direction of the strip is disclosed. In the uncured elastomer strip, cords laid parallel with each other along the longitudinal direction of the strip, are embedded. The edge trimmer comprises a cutter head comprising a blade for trimming an edge portion of the uncured elastomer strip. The cutter head is freely movable in the transverse direction of the uncured elastomer strip being conveyed. The blade has a pair of v-shaped cutting edges opening towards the upper stream of the conveyed direction of the uncured elastomer strip. Preferably, the thickness of the blade is 1.0 to 2.0 mm, the opening angle of the V-shaped cutting edges is 30 to 70 degrees, an angle of each of the cutting edges is 35 to 65 degrees, and the cutting edges are formed on the thickness center plane of the blade.

  • Patent number: 7314533
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a tire reinforcing material for achieving uniformity in stiffness at a joint of a ply of a cord fabric and improving dynamic uniformity of a tire shaped and vulcanized, the cord fabric constructed of warp cords arranged in parallel with each other and wefts arranged substantially orthogonally to the warp cords, includes: a topping step for coating with rubber the cord fabric having the wefts folded back at respective warp cords at opposing ends of the cord fabric to produce a ply; a cutting step for cutting the ply into ply pieces each having a predetermined length; a joint forming step for removing one to five cords at each of opposing ends of the ply to form a joint; and a joining step for joining together the joint of one of the ply pieces and the joint of another ply piece.

  • Patent number: 7115181
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a rubber coated fabric for a tire which includes a weft cutting step of cutting a weft of the rubber coated fabric base substance using a cutting device at a cut pitch Cp of two to five times an arrangement pitch P of a warp. The cut ductility of the weft is set between 5 and 20%. The cutting device utilizes first and second rollers in which the peripheral protrusions and the peripheral grooves are alternately formed. Groove widths W1 and W2 of the peripheral grooves of the first and second rollers are set between 2.0 and 5.0 mm, protruding widths T1 and T2 of the peripheral protrusions of the first and second rollers are set to 0.25 to 0.5 times the groove widths W1 and W2, and the insertion depths h1 and h2 of the peripheral protrusions to the peripheral grooves are set between 2.0 and 4.0 mm.
