  • Patent number: 8398043
Abstract: A seat sliding device for preventing accidental operation of the operation member. The lock member 50 fixes (locks) the upper rail 20 fixed to a vehicle seat and the lower rail 30 fixed to the vehicle floor via the front and rear feet so as not to make a relative movement. The lock member 50, with the lock nails 55 of the pivoting member 50b, pivots around the pivot center L extending in the rail sliding direction, in response to the operation of the operation lever, and the pivot center L is positioned distant from the lock nails 55.

  • Patent number: 8360383
Abstract: A seat sliding device for preventing accidental operation of the operation member. The seat sliding device includes a biasing member 60 which biases a lock member 50 in response to the operation of an operation lever 70 in an unlocking pivoting direction and which is tiltable around a shaft 62 as the tilting center together with the operation lever 70 in response to the operation of the operation lever 70. A balancer 64 of the biasing member 60 has a shape and mass, etc. adapted so as to bring a position of the center of gravity of the tilting body including the operation lever 70 and the biasing member 60 close to the shaft center of the shaft 62.

  • Publication number: 20080315635
Abstract: A rear end collision shock absorbing unit wherein there are provided one-side member rotating in synchronization with either one side of the seat back side and the seat cushion side between members that turn mutually to enable tilting, and the other-side member rotating in synchronization with the other side, and a convex part is provided on the one-side member, a concave part or a through hole in which the convex part fits is provided in the other-side member, and when a rear end collision shock is applied, the convex part and the concave part or through hole are turned relatively and deformed in a fitted state, whereby rear end collision shock energy is absorbed.
