Publication number: 20160104510Abstract: It is provided a method for producing a stream of desired image frames derived from a panoramic capturing of a scene by an array of video cameras. The production is conducted by a coordinated operation at a venue proximate to the scene and at a production suite located remotely from the venue. The method includes a venue server recording a stream of raw video images captured simultaneously by the video-cameras, and converting the stream of raw video images at a first data rate to a stream of panoramic views at a second data rate. The second data rate is less than one third of the first data rate. The method further includes transmitting the stream of panoramic views to a remote production suite, and there selecting a stream of desired frames including respective regions of interest. The method further includes transmitting data on the stream of desired frames to the venue server, and the venue server producing out of the recorded stream of raw video images, a stream of high resolution frames.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2014Publication date: April 14, 2016Inventors: Miky TAMIR, Gal OZ

Patent number: 9304763Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for big data integration and configuration. In use, a plurality of components associated with a big data solution are defined in a domain specific language utilizing one or more code generation tools. Additionally, relevant artifacts for the plurality of components associated with the big data solution are generated. Further, the relevant artifacts are packaged into a manifest, the manifest including elements required to support at least one business process. In addition, environment dependent variables of the manifest are replaced with target values associated with a target big data environment to which the manifest is to be deployed. Moreover, the manifest is deployed into operation in the target big data environment.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2014Date of Patent: April 5, 2016Assignee: Amdocs Software Systems LimitedInventors: Arnon Rotem-Gal-Oz, Nir Pedhazur

Publication number: 20150238137Abstract: A method of detecting sleep disturbances is disclosed. The method comprises: sensing from a body part of a subject a subject signal indicative of a sleep state of the subject; sensing from an environment containing the subject an environment signal indicative of a state of the environment; identifying awakening and/or arousal events based on the subject signal, and changes in the environment state based on the environment signal; and correlating the awakening and/or arousal events to the changes in the environment state, thereby detecting the sleep disturbances.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2015Publication date: August 27, 2015Inventors: Shulamit Eyal, Armanda Lia Baharav, Shaul Gal-Oz

Publication number: 20150193085Abstract: User interface apparatus for a computer system, comprises: a touch surface having an internal face and a touch face; cameras placed about said touch face and arranged to image the touch face including the surface itself and a volume extending outwardly from the surface on the touch face; and an illumination unit that illuminates the touch side. The illumination unit illuminates separately a) a relatively thin first volume close to the touch surface for touch control—the touch volume, and b) a relatively deep second volume extending away from the first volume for three-dimensional hand or body gesture control— the depth volume, the separate illuminating providing for separate imaging by the cameras of the touch and depth volumes.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2013Publication date: July 9, 2015Inventors: Uri Talmor, Gal Oz, Sharon Ehrlich

Patent number: 9058670Abstract: It is provided a method for conveying data on a flying object in a scene. The method including capturing video frames of the scene by video cameras to get video frames which include image of the object, identifying the object in captured video frames to get associated object parameters, calculating motion variables, solving motion equations for anticipated object trajectory taking into account certain effects, and conveying data to displaying devices. The certain effects are an effect of object collision with a ground surface, air friction, wind effect, and interaction of a spinning object with air. The method may be applied to a ball in a sporting playing field. The cameras may have variable operating parameters desirable for the calculating the motion variables, which may be determined by camera calibration using captured artifacts of the scene. Shadow of the object may be captured as well and be used to provide data absent due to occluding a of the object from a video camera.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2011Date of Patent: June 16, 2015Assignee: Stats LLCInventors: Michael Birenboim, Roy Tenny, Yuri Shpalensky, Danielle Shor, Gal Oz
