  • Patent number: 11652514
Abstract: System and methods for wirelessly transporting data from a first communication node to a second communication node using different combinations of beams and on a packet-by-packet basis. Packets associated with a certain Quality of Service (QoS) and/or latency requirements are transported between the first and the second nodes using a first transmission path, while packets associated with a different QoS/latency requirements, are transported between the first and the second nodes using another transmission path, in which in order to switch from the first path to the second path, the system adjusts appropriate beam directions in real-time, and so as to result in fast-switching beam configurations that dynamically change in accordance to packet movement in the network. Latency-critical packets are directed to the faster path, while other packets are directed to the slower path, so as to prevent network congestion and optimize overall network performance.

  • Publication number: 20230092896
Abstract: Systems and methods to iteratively map-and-approach an urban area using flying drones. Each of the iterations includes drones flying over the urban area using terrain-following techniques in conjunction with a 3D model that was updated in previous iterations, in which flight paths are defined in conjunction with the 3D model so as to stay away of ground-related features appearing in the 3D model. As the iteration processes progresses, the model becomes increasingly accurate with additional details about the ground related features, thereby allowing the drones to safely approach the ground related features. The iterations converge into a low altitude flight over roads in the urban area, as flying at low altitudes over roads allows the drones to gather information of interest about buildings, infrastructure and assets, in which such information would be difficult to obtain using other techniques. Close proximity to ground related features allows drone delivery functions as well.

  • Publication number: 20220076166
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for providing data sets from a constantly changing database to a streaming machine learning component. In one embodiment, a data streaming sub-system receives multiple incoming streams of data sets, in which each stream is generated in real-time by one of multiple data sources. The streaming sub-system sends data sets, on-the-fly as they are received, to storage in the memory of a database, in which there is a linkage between the storage and the time of arrival or the time of storage, of the data sets. The database receives, from a machine learning component, a request to receive data sets according to a particular time or time period. In response to such request, the database identifies such data sets according to the particular time or time period and sends them to the machine learning component.

  • Publication number: 20220060665
Abstract: A plurality of on-road vehicles moving along streets of a city, while utilizing onboard cameras for autonomous driving functions, are bound to capture, over time, random images of various city objects such as pedestrians, vehicles, building and other structures. Images of a certain city object may be captured by many of the vehicles at various times while passing by that object, thereby resulting in a corpus of imagery data containing various random images and other representations of that certain object. Per each of at least some of the city objects appearing more than once in the corpus of imagery data, appearances are detected and linked, and then analyzed to reveal behavioral/descriptive models associated with that city object and with interactions of the object with other objects. The models are then used to detect a recent emerging pattern that is then used to determine an appropriate service action.
