Abstract: Methods and composition for treating or preventing an inflammatory dermatological disease or condition, such as psoriasis, in a subject are described. The methods involve topical applications to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising at least one indigo naturalis composition, beberine and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

Abstract: Benzenesulfonamide compounds having a structure of formula (I) are described. Also described, are methods for synthesizing the compounds and to the use thereof in pharmaceutical compositions for human or veterinary medicine and in cosmetic compositions.

Abstract: Dermatological/cosmetic compositions suited for preventing or treating cell differentiation and/or proliferation and/or keratinization disorders, including preventing or treating common acne, comprise, in a physiologically acceptable medium, (i) at least one dispersed retinoid, (ii) dispersed benzoyl peroxide, in free or encapsulated form, and (iii) at least one pH-independent gelling agent, selected from the group consisting of (a) polyacrylamide gelling agents, (b) gelling agents which are acrylic polymers coupled to hydrophobic chains, (c) modified starch gelling agents, and mixture thereof, said composition maintaining good chemical stability of (i) and (ii) without their degradation over time at a temperature of between 4° C. and 40° C.

Abstract: Dermatological compositions contain, formulated into a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one retinoid compound selected from among all-trans retinoic acid, isotretinoin, motretinide, and naphthoic acid compounds of formula (I), and salts and esters thereof: wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl radical, a branched or unbranched alkyl radical having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms or a cycloaliphatic radical which is substituted or unsubstituted, and at least one anti-irritant compound and benzoyl peroxide.

Abstract: Administration of adapalene in a topical medicament to a patient so as to sustain its biological response in the treatment of acne vulgaris, wherein the administration pattern of the topical medicament comprises topically applying onto the afflicted skin area a therapeutically effective amount of adapalene at least once every two days for at least 6 months.
