  • Patent number: 7398779
Abstract: An improved thermosiphon solar heater is disclosed. The thermosiphon solar heater includes a substantially planar collector including a plurality of heat exchanger channels that are positioned next to one another in a parallel relationship. The thermosiphoning solar heater also includes a pair of headers fluidly coupled to the collector. A first header is disposed at a top end of the collector. A second header is disposed at a bottom end of the collector. The thermosiphoning solar heater further includes one or more exposed storage tanks fluidly coupled to the header and positioned in a side by side relationship next to the collector.

  • Publication number: 20070056214
Abstract: An integrated biodiesel processor is disclosed. The integrated biodiesel processor includes a main reaction tank for storing feedstock to be processed and within which the reactions take place to form a biodiesel product from the feedstock. The integrated biodiesel processor also includes one or more secondary tanks integrated with and disposed within the main reaction tank. The secondary tanks are configured to store reactionary ingredients to be released into the main reaction tank in order to generate reactions.

  • Publication number: 20050160589
Abstract: The invention is a tube inserter used in manufacturing heat exchangers, in particular, heat exchangers made of cut tubes. The tube inserter includes a frame, tubing feed channel, clip strip feed channel, and sprocket assembly. The sprocket assembly includes a sprocket, hub, and shaft. The clip strip feed channel receives clip strips and the tubing feed channel receives cut tubes. The sprocket inserts cut tubes into the clip strips and simultaneously advances the clip strips. The tube inserter may be used to produce heat exchanges of different widths and arrays of multiple heat exchangers. Multiple heat inserters may also be used in a heat exchanger production line.
