    Abstract: A label applicator kit comprising a holder including first holding means for holding a first set of tabbed materials such that the tabs of the first set are staggered, exposed and in a first line and a second holding means for holding a second set of tabbed materials such that the tabs of the second set are staggered, exposed and in a second line that is parallel to and spaced from the first line. The holder being a pouch, the first holding means being a first pocket of the pouch and the second holding means being a second pocket of the pouch. The pouch being in a sets-holding condition when the first holding means is holding the first set and the second holding means is holding the second set.

    Abstract: A sheet protector includes a front panel and a back panel attached together to form a pocket and a margin. The pocket may have an opening extending along a top edge of the panels. The margin extends along a side of the pocket. The opening may extend a distance into the margin such that a width of the opening is greater than a width of the pocket. For example, the width of the opening may be at least about 2% greater than the width of the pocket. Alternatively, a sheet protector includes a sheet of material folded about a fold line to form the front panel and the back panel. The panels are welded together at a bottom weld line, an outer weld line located along one side, and at an inner weld line located in a spaced relationship from the outer weld line. A margin is defined between the outer and inner weld lines, and a pocket is defined between the panels and within the fold line, the bottom weld line, and the inner line, with an opening being defined along the top edges of the panels.

    Abstract: A sleeve for holding papers or other material may be provided with an outer corner tab. The sleeve may be formed of a single die-cut sheet of plastic or other material, or from two or more sheets that are attached together. A first sheet may include score lines along two adjacent edges that enable an extended portion of the first sheet to be folded over a second sheet. The second sheet may include score lines that enable an outer corner tab to be formed thereon. The corner tab enables a portion of the papers or other material stored in the sleeve to be inserted into an insert space of the tab. The tab may then be used to retain papers in a secure manner, such that they will not fall out of the sleeve should the sleeve or folder be inverted.

    Abstract: In addition to a set of dividers having staggered tabs and binder holes, the retail packaging includes a sheet protector pocket having a front sheet and a back sheet and binder holes. The user removes the dividers and pocket from the packaging and custom designs and prints sheet indicia on a paper sheet. He/she then inserts the printed sheet into the pocket whereby the front sheet allows the sheet indicia to be viewed therethrough. The front sheet has pre-printed indicia thereon. With the printed sheet in the pocket and the pocket and dividers assembled in a ringed notebook or other binding system, the sheet indicia and the pre-printed indicia line up with respective ones of the tabs. The indicia thereby form an attractive custom-designed table of contents, which can be easily corrected or changed by the user by simply printing and inserting into the pocket a new sheet. The front sheet can either be transparent or have a window to allow the sheet indicia to be viewed therethrough.

    Abstract: Facestock is adhered with adhesive to a liner sheet. Weakened separation lines in the facestock define lines of facestock labels. And weakened separation lines in the liner sheet define liner sheet strips separable from the body of the liner sheet to expose backsides of respective lines of labels. The rest of the liner sheet can then be manipulated to position the line of labels on staggered tabs, the labels pressed into position and separated from the rest of the facestock. Another embodiment includes facestock sheet separation lines defining the perimeters of facestock labels with at least one facestock handle attached thereto. The liner sheet includes a portion attached to the handle whereby the handle, the label and the portion are removable as a unit from the liner sheet and the facestock, the handle manipulated to position the label so that its adhesive backside is positioned and applied at the desired surface location, and the handle and portion then separated from the label.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an index divider sheet assembly adapted for feeding into ink jet printers and the like for a printing operation on the sheet body and/or the index tab of the assembly. The assembly includes a divider sheet having a tab extending out of one edge and a reinforced binding edge flap. The divider sheet can be manufactured from ink jet receptive top-coated white cardstock. A guide strip along the tab edge assists the assembly being fed and passing through the printer despite the presence of the tab. The binding edge flap is folded over onto the body of the sheet and held thereon to reduce the width dimension of the assembly so that it can be fed into and passed through the printer. After passing through the printer, the guide strip is removed and the flap is unfolded.

    Abstract: An index divider sheet assembly including a divider sheet having a tab on a sheet edge and a strip removably attached to the divider sheet and extending out from the sheet edge. A printable strip has a first strip portion attached to and flat on a first face of the tab and a second strip portion separated from the first strip portion by a fold line. The assembly is fed into a printer or copier with the second strip portion releasably secured to and flat on the removable strip. The printer or copier prints (mirror-image) indicia on the first and second strip portions. After this printing operation, the removable strip is manually removed from the sheet and from the second strip portion. The second strip portion is then folded backward on the fold line and secured with its adhesive to the opposite second face of the tab.
