  • Publication number: 20170216667
Abstract: An eSports fitness band and system are disclosed. The eSports fitness band may be worn by the user. The eSports fitness band uses sensors to calculate user activity data and output the data via BLUETOOTH® wireless technology to the user's mobile electronic device. The user's mobile electronic device then transmits the user's fitness data to a cloud data repository. Data from the user's video game play and use of gymnasium equipment may also be captured and transmitted to the cloud data repository. The user's fitness data may then be compiled with the user's video game play metrics or with the user's gym data. The compiled data may then be accessed by the user via his computer and can be exported for inclusion in a video stream or content delivery network.

  • Publication number: 20060241795
Abstract: A method and a system for a electronic gaming tournament system in which many remotely located players participate in a gaming tournament. The tournament may have various tiers of participation according to the skill and/or luck of the player. The players may be separated into at least two groups, the challengers and the defenders. The challengers try to win enough games and/or skill sets to be classified as a defender at specific tier levels of a multi-tiered ladder within the tournament. In one embodiment, the defenders receive consideration to defend against the challengers. Based on established criteria, a challenger may qualify to advance to a tier within the ladder. A plurality of multi-tiered ladders may be provided, and play between ranked players from different ladders facilitated. The system may include software and hardware to implement the method steps.

  • Patent number: 5275400
Abstract: The present invention is designed specifically to comply with gaming regulations to provide an electronic video poker game, an electronic slot machine, an electronic twenty-one game or an electronic craps game in which the players are competing against each other to win from a common pool and are not wagering against the house. The house retains an pre-established commission. When a player stops playing his machine, he can cash out his accrued credits for an amount determined by the value of the common pari-mutuel pool. The present invention also provides for pari-mutuel pools to be distributed to all coin columns in a predetermined manner so as to allow all participants (not only the ones who play maximum coins) to be able to win a predetermined mathematical proportional share of the pari-mutuel jackpot pool (progressive payouts).
