  • Publication number: 20170060551
Abstract: A method and system for automatically integrating component logs is provided. The method includes retrieving from a software application, high level log identification values representing transactions executed by the software application. Compiled machine language identification values representing compiled code associated with the software application and the hardware device are retrieved from an agent and a high level log identification value of the high level log identification values is identified. The high level log identification value is associated with an instruction set processed by a central processing unit (CPU). An instruction set identification value is correlated with the compiled machine language identification values. The compiled machine language identification values are converted into decompiled machine language identification values and the decompiled machine language identification values are correlated with log levels associated with the high level log identification values.

  • Patent number: 9569722
Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide for automatically selecting optimal fetch settings for business processes as a function of database query load and relational context by monitoring usage of a data retrieval point with respect to a defined unit of work. A multilayer feed-forward neural network is used to predict, as a function of training sets composed of historical data generated by the monitored usage of the data retrieval point, a future value of a data size of results from an eager fetch setting for the data retrieval point. The eager fetch is automatically revised to a lazy fetch setting in response to determining that the future data size value of the eager fetch setting results is larger than a permissible memory resource threshold.

  • Publication number: 20160378328
Abstract: A method and associated systems for inferring insights from enhanced user input. A computerized messaging system identifies a user operating a mobile, location-enabled, “scribble” device and associates the user or the device with a domain of interest or with other metadata that characterizes the user. When the user enters an ad hoc “scribble” input via the device, the system automatically tags the input with the user's location, with sensory data received from one or more sensor devices, and with ancillary data received from extrinsic data repositories. The system may then consider this ancillary and sensory data in order to identify or infer rules or insights associated with the user and the scribble. These rules may then be used to identify targeted, user-specific steps to perform in response to receiving the scribble, where these user-specific steps accommodate a user preference without exposing confidential user information to a public data repository.

  • Patent number: 9471404
Abstract: For data integration using APIs, a request for data is analyzed to determine a set of functional characteristics and a set of non-functional characteristics expected in the data. A first API entry is selected in a registry of API entries, the first API entry corresponding to a first API of the first data source. The first API entry includes a first metadata corresponding to a first functional characteristic in the set of functional characteristics. The first API is invoked to obtain a first portion of the data, the first portion having the first functional characteristic. Using a second API entry in the registry, a second API is invoked to obtain a second portion of the data. The first portion and the second portion are returned in a response to the request.
