  • Patent number: 10885590
Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable automatically fulfilling an obligation under a smart contract. A block is added to a blockchain ledger in response to an event that triggers the obligation. The block includes data related to the event. Inferences related to the event are derived based on an analysis of event data and historical data incorporated in prior blocks in the blockchain ledger. Based on the inferences, a potential cause of the event is derived. Based on the potential cause, an interested stakeholder to the fulfilling of the obligation is identified. The interested stakeholder is added to a group that is allowed access to the blockchain ledger corresponding to the smart contract.

  • Patent number: 10886861
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to system(s) and method(s) for generating a controlled static electricity in a propensity medium. The system receives an input signal indicating a target static electricity to be generated in the propensity medium, and a DC voltage from a power source. Furthermore, the system converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage. Furthermore, the system multiplies the AC voltage using a voltage multiplier to generate a static electricity. The voltage multiplier comprises a plurality of a set of capacitors and diodes. The system further measures the static electricity. Further, the system compares the static electricity and the target static electricity. Based on the comparison, the system configures the voltage multiplier by modifying at least one set of capacitors and diodes. Further, the system generates the controlled static electricity in the propensity medium based on the configuration of the voltage multiplier.

  • Publication number: 20200407053
Abstract: In one embodiment, a drone is provided with several inflatable tubes that each connect a propeller component to a body of the drone. In order to increase the handling of the drone, a patch is placed on the top surface of each inflatable tube that includes some number of shape memory alloy wires. The shape memory alloy wires shrink and become rigid when an electric current is applied to them. The optimal locations on each tube to place the patches, and the shape of the patches, is determined using a topology optimization. Later, the wires in the patches can be selectively activated or deactivated by an operating entity to provide an additional means to control the drone. Additionally, the drone is equipped with several landing arms which may include a shape memory alloy torsion coil spring to help the arm deployment during landing.

  • Publication number: 20200411482
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for improved heat dissipation of the stacked semiconductor dies by including metallic thermal pads between the dies in the stack. In one embodiment, the thermal pads may be in direct contact with the semiconductor dies. Heat dissipation of the semiconductor die stack can be improved by a relatively high thermal conductivity of the thermal pads that directly contact the adjacent silicon dies in the stack without the intervening layers of the low thermal conductivity materials (e.g., passivation materials). In some embodiments, the manufacturing yield of the stack can be improved by having generally coplanar top surfaces of the thermal pads and under-bump metallization (UBM) structures.

  • Publication number: 20200410292
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s) ingests content from a source(s) with an attribute(s) comprising a verified temporal context(s) of the source(s). The processor(s) cognitively analyzes the content, by applying an entity recognition algorithm(s) to identify and extract entities in the source(s). The processor(s) classifies each extracted entity into a given grouping from a plurality of groupings based on at least one attribute comprising the verified temporal context of the source from which the extracted entity was extracted. The processor(s) generates a corpus comprising the groupings; each grouping comprises extracted entities with verified temporal contexts consistent with a defined time period.

  • Patent number: 10880173
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards automated acceptance testing of network functions so that only certified network functions are deployed in a wireless network. When a network function attempts to register in a network, e.g., with a network function repository, the registration attempt triggers a workflow that obtains a result of automated testing of the network function. The automated testing operation can be based on a test suite selected according to the network function type and the network slice in which the network function is to be deployed. Only upon determining that the network function passed the automated testing operation is the network function registered (by the network function repository) for operation in the wireless network.
