  • Patent number: 10380586
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure enable a user to manage funds for financial transactions. In some embodiments, a request for authorization of a financial transaction associated with one or more factors including a transaction amount is received from a financial transaction processing computing device, a first purse associated with a cardholder account that is associated with one or more purses is identified based on the one or more first factors, a plurality of parameters associated with the first purse including a first purse priority and a first purse balance are identified, the first purse balance is compared with the transaction amount to determine a difference between the first purse balance and the transaction amount, and it is determined whether to approve the request for authorization based on the first purse priority and the difference between the first purse balance and the transaction amount.

  • Publication number: 20170316388
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in evaluating automated clearing house (ACH) transactions, in connection with determining whether to post or return the transactions. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, a batch file including multiple ACH transactions and segregating, by the computing device, each of the ACH transactions. The method then includes, for each of the multiple segregated transactions, evaluating the transaction, by the computing device, relative to a first rule and directing, by the computing device, the transaction to a workbasket for human review when the transaction violates the first rule whereby the ACH transaction is submitted for human review rather than returning the ACH transaction upon the violation of the first rule.

  • Publication number: 20160260097
Abstract: At the point of sale, a user of a payment-enabled mobile device opens a wallet application program and selects a payment account for use in a purchase transaction. The user is prompted to select a sub-account from among a number of sub-accounts associated with the selected payment account. The user selects one of the sub-accounts, and the transaction is ultimately assigned to the selected sub-account by the account issuer. • Publication number: 20160140628
Abstract: A computer implemented method for determining a cost of a casting process includes receiving a user input, via a Graphical User Interface (GUI), indicative of part information that is associated with a part manufactured by the casting process. The method includes receiving a user input, via the GUI, to select a casting parameter associated with the casting process. The casting parameter includes material and post-treatment parameter, mold and core parameter, foundry process parameter, and machining and setup parameter. The method includes receiving a user input, via the GUI, indicative of a variable associated with the casting parameter and retrieving a cost information associated with the casting parameter from a database. The method further includes determining a parameter cost based on the cost information and the variable and, generating an output, via the GUI, indicative of the cost of the casting process for the part.

  • Patent number: 8616279
Abstract: A method for treating water at a water treatment facility is provided. In one aspect, the water has been circulated through a subsurface formation in a shale oil development area. The subsurface formation may comprise shale that has been spent due to pyrolysis of formation hydrocarbons. The method in one embodiment includes receiving the water at the water treatment facility, and treating the water at the water treatment facility in order to (i) substantially separate oil from the water, (ii) substantially remove organic materials from the water, (iii) substantially reduce hardness and alkalinity of the water, (iv) substantially remove dissolved inorganic solids from the water, and/or (v) substantially remove suspended solids from the water. The method may further includes delivering the water that has been treated at the water treatment facility re-injecting the treated water into the subsurface formation to continue leaching out contaminants from the spent shale.
