  • Publication number: 20240104121
Abstract: A method is provided automatically creating map objects from data from various sources gathered within a geographical area using data aggregation and conflation. Methods may include: receiving observation data associated with a geographic area; identifying at least one observed object within the observation data, the at least one observed object including an observed location and an observed object type; determining at least one confidence score for the at least one observed object; estimating similarity between the at least one observed object and at least one other observed object; merging the at least one observed object and the at least one other observed object; conflating the at least one observed object and the at least one other observed object to obtain a conflated object; providing for storage of the conflated object; and providing for at least one of navigational guidance or at least semi-autonomous vehicle control using the stored, conflated object.

  • Patent number: 11935075
Abstract: Systems and computer-implemented methods are described for modeling card inactivity. For example, hierarchical modeling may be used in which a first level classifier may be trained and validated to predict whether a card will be inactive. For cards predicted to become inactive by the first level classifier, a second level classifier may be trained and validated to predict when the card will become inactive. The first level classifier may include a binary classifier that generates two probabilities that respectively predict that the card will and will not become inactive. The second level classifier may include a multi-class classifier that generates a first probability that the card will become inactive at a first time period (such as one or more months in the future) and a second probability that the card will become inactive at a second time period. The multi-class classifier may generate other probabilities corresponding to other time periods.

  • Patent number: 11930038
Abstract: Example implementations relate to the processing of refresh token requests at an API gateway. The API gateway determines a first time associated with receipt of the refresh token request and a second time associated with the generation of a current access token. The current access token and a refresh token in the refresh token request are provided by the API gateway to the client device for accessing a backend service. The API gateway determines whether a difference between the first time and the second time is within a pre-defined threshold duration. When the difference between the first time and the second time is within the pre-defined threshold, the API gateway denies the refresh token request for generating the new access token and transmits the current access token back to the client device.

  • Publication number: 20240078123
Abstract: In general, techniques are described for automatically and transparently providing service proxying to virtual machines using Network Interface Cards (NICs). In some examples, a service proxy implemented by a NIC of a computing device that hosts a virtual machine may mimic sidecar service proxy behavior. A NIC-based mesh agent may automatically detect the service offered by the virtual machine and interact with control plane components to dynamically incorporate the service into a service mesh.

  • Patent number: 11920140
Abstract: Provided herein are methods and systems for altering the genome of an organelle. In some embodiments, the method comprises introducing into an organelle a recombinant DNA construct comprising a first polynucleotide encoding at least one guide RNA and a second polynucleotide encoding a polynucleotide guided polypeptide; and growing a cell comprising the organelle under conditions in which the first polynucleotide and the second polynucleotide are each expressed.

  • Publication number: 20200362183
Abstract: A primer containing graphene as an additive and a method of priming a filled polymer substrate for providing a Class A final paint surface. The method includes providing a substrate with reinforcement materials. A primer which includes from 0.5-5% by weight of graphene as an additive is applied to the substrate for coating the substrate. The primer is cured during heating of the resulting product for drying the substrate. The graphene acts to dissipate heat providing less differential of heat between the primer and the substrate and/or coatings applied on top of the primer which produces an improved final appearance of a paint over a fiber reinforced polymer material.

  • Patent number: 9293792
Abstract: A method of managing leakage of liquid inside a battery system comprises: containing leaking liquid in a non-liquid sensitive region of the battery system so as to protect internal electrical components of the battery system from coming in contact with the leaking liquid; and in direct response to the leakage, expunging the leaking liquid from the battery system. A drain device includes: a body with a port therethrough, the body configured to be positioned in a wall of a container; means for opening the port in response to a first liquid contacting the drain device on an inside of the container; and means for resisting ingress into the container by a second liquid that contacts the drain device on an outside of the container.
