The particle solar receiver includes: a feeding bin temporarily storing endothermic particles to be heated, and a multi-stage plate heat absorbing channel allowing the particles to flow along a predetermined path by gravity, where the multi-stage plate heat absorbing channel includes a plurality of plate-type structures which forms a changing flow direction of the particles flowing between adjacent plate-type structures. The particle solar receiver can achieve the endothermic particle heating function with a simple structure, i.e., the function of converting the solar power into thermal energy at a high-temperature level.

    Abstract: A method in one embodiment creates a model of an authentic IC for use in comparisons with counterfeit ICs. The model can be created by determining a first or initial set of points of interest (POIs) on the simulated physical (e.g., gate level) layout and simulating side channel leakage from each POI and then expanding the size of the POI and repeating the simulation and comparing successive simulation results (between successive sizes of POIs for a given POI) to determine if a solution for the size of the POI has converged. The final POIs are then processed in a simulation that can use multiple payloads (e.g., cryptographic data) over the entire set of final POIs, and the resulting data set can be used to create the model.

Each control point includes memory alloy layers and elastic layers that are superposed and fixed in a one-to-one correspondence. When temperatures of all the memory alloy layers are lower than a specified threshold, all the memory alloy layers are located in a first plane. When a temperature of a specified memory alloy layer is higher than the specified threshold, the specified memory alloy layer is bent and deformed. Each memory alloy layer is connected to two electrodes for connecting the memory alloy layer to a circuit.
