The UE can be configured to decode, at the UE, a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for beam management with a repetition parameter set to “ON” transmitted in one BWP or one CC in a first set of symbols. The UE can be configured to identify, at the UE, a scheduling restriction for the first set of symbols for the control channel and the data channel, wherein the scheduling restriction indicates that downlink transmission in the first set of symbols is not expected.

When a data contributor such as a process plant generates measurement data, an encrypted version of a set of measurement data is transmitted to a storage center for secure storage of the measurement data. In some instances, the data contributor divides the set of measurement data into several subsets and transmits each subset of encrypted measurement data to a different storage center. Furthermore, the storage center generates a transaction for the storage operation which is recorded in a distributed ledger. When a data subscriber retrieves the encrypted measurement data from a storage center, the data subscriber can verify the authenticity of the data based on the information recorded in the distributed ledger.

    Abstract: In a wireless charging system, a power-transmitting node (TX) has a power transmitter for transmitting power wirelessly to a power-receiving node (RX), a sampling and sensing circuit, a processor, and a signal receiver for receiving signals from the RX. The processor detects the presence of a foreign object (FO) during a power-transfer session using Quality Factor (QF) values. Estimated QF parameters are determined via exponential curve fitting using peak values of a damped sinusoidal waveform generated by a resonant circuit. Then the estimated parameters in the exponential curve are used to calculate the QF, which provides a robust measurement result even in a noisy environment.
