Abstract: Method and system for cross device notification (CDN) are provided. An incoming event is received at a first device associated with a user. The first device detects one or more active devices associated with the user other than the first device. Whether the user reacts to the incoming event is detected on the first device. Whether a CDN is needed is determined based on whether the one or more active devices are detected and/or whether the user reacts to the event within a predetermined time period. If a CDN is needed, the CDN is generated and transmitted to the one or more active devices.

Abstract: Method, system, and programs for dynamic content pre-caching. In one example, a first piece of information representing usage data of a user deice is obtained. A second piece of information representing a connection condition of the user device is also obtained. A third piece of information representing a pre-caching instruction is then received from a remote device. The third piece of information is generated based on the first and second pieces of information. One or more pieces of content are then fetched from a remote content source based on the third piece of information.

An identification of the user is also determined. A request for retrieving user-specific information is then sent to a remote database. The request is generated based on the environment factor and the identification of the user. In response to the request, the user-specific information sent from the remote database is received.
