    Abstract: Provided are a method for connecting to a 4G network, a device for connecting to a 4G network, and a terminal equipment. The method includes the follows: a terminal equipment judges whether the terminal equipment is currently registered in 4G; if the terminal equipment is not currently registered in 4G, whether a radio resource (RR) state is an idle state is judged; if the RR state is a non-idle state, a first duration in which the terminal equipment is in the non-idle state is determined; and if the first duration exceeds a first time threshold, the RR state is released to the idle state to cause the terminal equipment to re-select to connect to the 4G network.
