Abstract: The present invention provides an adhesive tamper evident vehicle registration label or an adhesive tamper evident label support. The adhesive tamper evident vehicle registration label comprises a frangible layer of a label comprising an upper surface and an opposed lower surface, in which the frangible layer comprises a plurality of layer portions located adjacent to each other and separable from each other by at least one line of weakness extending between the upper and lower surfaces thereof. The adhesive tamper evident label support comprises a frangible support layer for receiving a label, the frangible support layer comprising an upper surface for receiving a label thereon, and an opposed lower surface, in which the frangible support layer comprises a plurality of support layer portions located adjacent to each other and separable from each other by at least one opening and/or line of weakness extending between the upper and lower surfaces of the support layer.
