    Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for improved data transmissions using puncturing and binary sequences. A receiving device receives a sequenced data input that includes a set of individual values and performs a puncturing of the sequenced data input, yielding a punctured sequenced data input. The receiving device calculates correlation values for the punctured sequence data input and a set of predetermined data outputs. The receiving device determines whether any of the resulting correlation values exceeds a threshold correlation value. In response to determining that the correlation value calculated based on one of the predetermined data outputs exceeds the threshold correlation value, the receiving device determines that the sequenced data input corresponds to the predetermined data output.

According to various implementations, a cloud-based connectivity service maintains network path information that identifies routing paths for routing communication sessions across different networks. The connectivity service is also able to determine configuration information for configuring endpoint devices to participate in a communication session. According to various implementations, configuration information is determined based on a packet quality of a routing path. Thus, an endpoint device can apply the configuration information to attempt to increase packet quality across a routing path, and thus increase media quality for a communication session at the endpoint device.

According to various implementations, a cloud-based connectivity service maintains network path information that identifies routing paths for routing communication sessions across different networks. The connectivity service also tracks whether particular network nodes across the different paths are provisioned with an attribute sharing functionality. An entity such as a communication service and/or a client device can query the connectivity service for a routing path for routing a communication session, and the connectivity service can respond identifying a routing path. In at least some implementations, the connectivity service selects a routing path based on a historical and/or real-time signal quality for the routing path.

    Abstract: Techniques for content protection for a screen sharing experience are described. According to various embodiments, a user that is sharing their screen with other devices as part of a screen sharing experience can protect a portion of the screen from being shared by designating the portion as sharing protected. Thus, the identified portion of the user's screen is not shared while other portions are shared as part of the screen sharing experience. According to one or more embodiments, digital rights management (DRM) techniques are employed to enforce sharing protection. According to one or more embodiments, a user can be designated as sharing privileged such that the user is permitted to receive content that is designated as sharing protected as part of a screen sharing experience.
