The mounting member (21), (32) being configured to engage with the gate (14) so as to secure the gate (14) with respect to the post (12). One or more plates (26), (34) is slidingly receivable on the rods (20), (30) and positionable so as to abut with a surface of the post (12) when the rods (20), (30) are secured to the post (12).
