  • Patent number: 11965046
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymer latex for dip-molding applications obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising at least one conjugated diene and at least one ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compound in an aqueous medium in presence of seed latex particles having a glass transition temperature (mid point temperature Tmg) measured by DSC according to ASTM D3418-03 of ?50° C. to 50° C. wherein the seed latex particles do not contain structural units derived from ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compounds, to a method of preparing said polymer latex, to articles made by using said polymer latex and to a method for preparing dip-molded articles from said polymer latex.

  • Patent number: 11947747
Abstract: A method for aligning an input interface of a touchscreen with an overlay for the touchscreen is provided. The method comprises receiving a touch input on the touchscreen, wherein the touch input identifies a first position on the touchscreen corresponding to an alignment mark of the overlay; determining, based on the received touch input, a region of the touchscreen in which to render the input interface; and rendering the input interface in the determined region of the touchscreen.

  • Patent number: 8903694
Abstract: A computer-implemented system, method, and software are provided for solving linear systems of equations arising in reservoir simulation. A linear system of fluid flow equations, including a plurality of unknown variables, is provided that represents fluid flow properties in a geological formation of a subterranean reservoir. Block diagonal scaling is applied to the linear system of fluid flow equations. Threshold incomplete lower-upper approximate factorization is applied to obtain a preconditioning matrix, which can be used to iteratively solve unknown variables associated with the system of fluid flow equations. Preconditioning can be used directly as part of a preconditioned Krylov subspace method or alternatively as a 2nd stage preconditioner in a CPR algorithm.

  • Patent number: 7707018
Abstract: A method for conducting a stress calculation is disclosed adapted for modeling a set of stresses and displacements in a reservoir, the method comprising: (a) building a reservoir model over a region of interest by gridding the region of interest, the grid being comprised of one or more cells and having nodes, each cell having a cell center; (b) interpolating unknown rock displacements in the region of interest from cell centers to grid nodes; (c) integrating over each cell to form a discrete system of equations; and (d) using the discrete system of equations to model the stresses and displacements in the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20060231252
Abstract: A method for increasing oil recovery from an oil reservoir in which method surplus gas streams from a plant for synthesis of higher hydrocarbons from natural gas is injected into the reservoir, is described. The surplus streams from the plant is the tailgas from the synthesis and optionally nitrogen from an air separation unit which delivers oxygen or oxygen enriched air to the plant for synthesis of higher hydrocarbons.
