  • Publication number: 20240388324
Abstract: Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP) transmission is a potential candidate to optimize the performance of a network with added flexibility to serve a UE from multiple Base Stations (BSs). However, the performance gain in CoMP is as good as the dynamic clustering. The existing approaches are applicable for a fixed cluster size, which does not capture time-varying channel conditions and the cost of transmission. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for a learning based dynamic clustering of BSs for a CoMP transmission in communication networks. Herein, a framework for the CoMP transmission in 5th Generation (5G) and beyond networks is disclosed. Further, an optimal user-centric dynamic clustering technique is disclosed for the CoMP with the aim of maximizing the throughput subject to the constraint on the cost of transmission from the CoMP cluster i.e., coordinating set of BSs.

  • Patent number: 12126117
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe preventing a pluggable module from connecting to a chassis until ensuring there is no damage on the pluggable module, the chassis, or both. In one embodiment, the chassis includes a blocking element that prevents or blocks the pluggable module from mating with the chassis. The chassis can also include a camera for capturing an image of the pluggable module to determine whether there is damage to its connection elements (e.g., pins). If not, the chassis can release the locking pin to permit the pluggable module to mate with connection elements on the chassis.

  • Patent number: 12101637
Abstract: Fifth generation and beyond (5G+) systems are expected to adopt new network architectures, services, and deployment schemes for compatibility with the latest technologies and end user's needs. With increase in user equipment (UE), also come variety of advanced applications and use-cases, wherein each application type has its own KPI requirements. Existing resource allocation schemes in cellular networks are not able to handle such dynamic requirements due to which network slice can lead to unwanted mismanagement of resources. Present application provides systems and methods for application-aware dynamic slicing in radio access network (RAN), wherein RAN slicing is proactively managed by learning historical slice demands and consumptions. Once slices are created, the system allocates resources to user equipment by following optimal inter-slice and intra-slice mechanisms based on application type(s), traffic demand(s) and wireless characteristics of UE.

  • Patent number: 12096248
Abstract: This disclosure relates to method and system for improving Wi-Fi performance in co-existing communication networks using learning methodologies. In recent times, most of telecom operators have expressed interest in deploying LTE (Long-Term Evolution) over the unlicensed spectrum. However, simultaneous use of unlicensed band (by operators using LTE and other Wi-Fi) presents coexistence challenges in terms of network performance especially for the Wi-Fi. The disclosed techniques enable improving the Wi-Fi performance in the co-existing communication networks based on learning methodologies. The disclosed techniques improve Wi-Fi performance based on several steps that includes detecting an interfering channel, and further identifying an optimal channel to mitigate the interference caused by the detected interfering channel. The optimal channel is identified based on an optimization technique, wherein the optimization technique is a reinforcement learning technique based on a Q-learning.

  • Patent number: 11627037
Abstract: State of the art networking solutions are tightly coupled and proprietary in nature due to multiple vendors in the networking domain. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and system for management and orchestration of heterogeneous network environment using dynamic, robust and network aware microservices. The method enables a platform for automatically and dynamically identifying appropriate group of microservices in accordance with network type and service type specified by the user, thus providing a solution that generates network aware microservices for each network in the heterogeneous network landscape. Furthermore, the system manages the identified microservices for each of the network by managing the life cycle of these microservices. The right life cycle management and co-ordination of the microservices for the network is in-line with desired goals/business logic, in a reliable and scalable manner, in heterogeneous network environments.

  • Publication number: 20220365866
Abstract: Emulation has become a critical method for the initial phase of verification and validation processes. However, achieving interoperability between emulation systems and ensuring credibility of results currently require significant efforts. This disclosure relates to a system and method for providing an emulation as a service (EaaS) framework for communication networks. The EaaS framework provides discoverable services that are readily available on-demand and deliver a choice of applications in a flexible and adaptive manner. The EaaS framework is used for discovery, composition, execution, and management of emulation services. The EaaS framework defines user-facing capabilities (front-end) and underlying core functional infrastructure (back-end). The front end provides access to a large variety of emulation capabilities from which the user is able to select the services and track the experiences.
