    Abstract: A wheel mechanism for mounting beneath a container to allow the container to be moved comprises a ground-engaging device such as a wheel or roller assembly swivelably connected to a locking and locating device. The locking and locating device may include a rod and lug or two plates which engage in the bottom of the container to lock the wheel mechanism beneath the container.
