  • Publication number: 20210009404
Abstract: Systems and methods for hot refueling from a fuel source to one or more fuel tanks associated with equipment in the hot zone of a well site. Automatic valves are located at the fuel tanks, obviating the need for electronic communication in or out of the hot zone. A flexible conduit or hose is connected between one or more outlet ports of the fuel source to corresponding one or more automatic valves at the fuel tanks. The valve, such as a float-type valve, uses fuel level to open the valve whenever the fuel tank is below a full fuel level threshold. Fuel levels at or above the full fuel level threshold automatically close the valve.

  • Publication number: 20070193745
Abstract: A substance and method for treating a subterranean formation using hydraulic fracturing. A non-metallic, substantially deformable, proppant particle is “elastically flexible” or “plastically compressible” and adapted for use at concentrations which will substantially create a partial monolayer.

  • Publication number: 20060231254
Abstract: Method and apparatus for transfer of material such as liquids or fluid like solids into a high-pressure fluid stream to establish a desired flow rate by using a metering device, a reservoir for mixing fluids and solids, a first conduit connected to a top of the reservoir for flowing fluids and controlling atmosphere pressure, a second conduit connected to a top of the reservoir for supplying solids, the metering device connected to the bottom of the reservoir and controlled by a metering controller for controlling pressure of a mixture of fluids and solids, and a cross conduit mounted to the metering device for injecting the mixture of fluids and solids into the fluid stream.
