  • Publication number: 20020145001
Abstract: The present invention includes a paint bucket preferably formed of a flexible material and having a set of rigid support arms extending opposite each other along the perimeter of the paint bucket. An ergonomic handle is provided for supporting the paint bucket. The ergonomic handle is preferably formed of a semi-circular, or horse shoe base, for surrounding a portion of the perimeter of the paint bucket. Slots are provided on either end of the base for receiving the rigid support arms provided along the outer perimeter of the flexible bucket. The bucket is easily removable and replaceable within the semi-circular base as desired by the user when using several different paint colors or when the bucket is empty. A support member extends outwardly from the base opposite the slots. The support member may include a gripper handle provided for swiveling the bucket into a usable position and maintaining that position by the user.

  • Patent number: 6019386
Abstract: A protective cover for use in conjunction with a receiver hitch on a vehicle for towing a trailer. The protective cover includes a housing having a flexible frame and a jacket coupled to the frame by a living hinge. The flexible frame is formed to surround the receiver hitch and the jacket closes about the opening of the hitch. A locking mechanism is provided on the jacket opposite the living hinge to lock the jacket to the flexible frame about the receiving hitch. The flexible frame also includes a seat for supporting an electrical component such as a flat plug for supplying a light system to the trailer. The flat plug is removably placed within the seat and is covered by the jacket when the jacket is in a closed position. The jacket is also provided with an interior frame and an exterior frame for aiding in clamping the jacket around the opening of the receiver hitch. The interior frame of the jacket has an outer perimeter equal to or smaller than the interior perimeter of the receiver hitch.

  • Patent number: 5831430
Abstract: A probe holder mounted to a main housing of an electronic thickness gauge, of the type having a remote probe connected to the main housing by an elongate cable, enables the gauge to be used in its initial configuration when the probe is out of the holder and as an integral unit when the probe is positioned in the holder. The holder may be retrofit onto an existing gauge by making it an integral part of a battery cover that replaces an original battery cover. A second embodiment includes a cylindrical remote probe holder having independent, dedicated sensors mounted at its opposite ends to facilitate switching from one type of sensor to another, a third embodiment provides multiple remote probes independently interconnected to the main housing by elongate cables, and a fourth embodiment mounts remote probes in a "V"-shaped housing to enable switching from a first probe to a second by rotating the housing about an axis of rotation.
