Abstract: A hose retention apparatus and method of retaining a hose is provided. The hose retention apparatus includes a hose holding structure having an interior portion sized to hold a cross-sectional area of a hose without contacting a fluid path within the hose. A substantially rigid connecting member has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is connected to the hose holding portion. A handle is secured to the second end of the substantially rigid connecting member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for opening a container is provided. A container opener includes a handle portion and a container guide affixed to the handle portion. At least one puncturing structure is affixed to the container guide. The at least one puncturing structure may be positioned to puncture a seal affixed to a wall of the container.
