Abstract: A closure configured to be engaged with a container, wherein the closure includes a cap and a twist ring. According to aspects of the disclosure, the cap may include: a generally cylindrical main body, a lid, a sidewall extending substantially perpendicularly from the lid, a hinge which allows the lid to pivot between a closed position and an open position, and a lift tab configured to protrude outwardly from the cap. According to aspects of the disclosure, the twist ring may be configured to extend around the cap. Further the twist ring may include: a generally cylindrical main body, a rim extending in a substantially horizontal plane and a sidewall extending substantially vertically from the rim. According to aspects of the disclosure, the twist ring may be configured to be rotated in order to be positioned to selectively prevent the lid of the cap from being pivoted from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for manufacturing plastic containers having RFID tags embedded therein is disclosed. The bottles are manufactured using a blow-molding technique wherein an in-mold film having an RFID tag embedded therein is positioned or placed against the parison immediately prior to the blow mold being closed and the pressurized air being used to inflate the parison. The resulting container thus has an RFID tag fused thereto to allow for tracking and tracing of the container after manufacture, as well as providing a mechanism by which the authenticity of the bottle can be verified.

The container also includes a tray having a drawer slideably positioned in the tray. The drawer is for containing the item. The tray is pivotably connected to the housing at a pivot joint for movement between a first position in which the tray and the drawer are contained in the housing for preventing access to the item and a second position in which the tray extends through the open side of the housing for exposing the drawer and the item.
