  • Patent number: 12061996
Abstract: A method and system may improve experiences at venues for live events by using electronic tickets supported by portable computing devices. The method and system may include coordinating transportation to a live event by matching available drivers with one or more event participants desiring transportation to the live event. The method and system may further include receiving a request for upgrading a seat to the live event and filtering available seats based on preferences stored in a database corresponding to an account associated with the request. Next, available seats corresponding to the request may be offered based on the filtering stage. The method and system may also include generating one or more offers for at least one of products and services that are in response to one or more incidents occurring at the live event, such as a homerun at a baseball game or touch-down at a football game.

  • Patent number: 11853927
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system includes receiving a request to participate in an electronic seating optimization algorithm and retrieving data about an existing electronic ticket, the data including a location of a seat within a venue. A first list of one or more requests to participate in the electronic seating optimization algorithm may be generated where the first list is ranked in accordance with at least a location of each seat associated with an electronic ticket. Subsequently, a seating optimization algorithm is executed to identify optimal and available seats corresponding to one or more seats from each request to participate. A second list of the one or more requests to participate is generated where the second list is ranked in accordance with the results of the electronic seating optimization algorithm. The location of a seat is then transmitted over a communications network in response to at least one request.

  • Patent number: 11416545
Abstract: A solution for a video surveillance system and method that leverages a dynamic geographic footprint and supports an object-based query of archived video content is described. An exemplary embodiment of the solution receives video footage from any number of unrelated sources. The video footage is parsed for content and stored in a database in connection with data that identifies the content (object class, aspects of the object, confidence scores, time and location data, etc.). Advantageously, the video footage may be queried based on content of the video footage and not just time and location data. In this way, embodiments of the solution provide for efficient query and review of relevant video footage.

  • Patent number: 11030892
Abstract: A method and system for capturing and filtering surveillance images are described. A processor detects motion of an object in a field of view and then generates a plurality of images in response to detecting motion of the object in the field of view. A first filter is then applied to the plurality of images and later, the one or remaining images based on the first filter are stored in a memory device. In response to a triggering event, an energy conserving processor is activated from a sleep mode of operation where the energy conserving processor applies a second filter to the remaining images from the first filter. The energy conserving processor assigns a confidence score to one or more images matching the second filter. With the second filter, the energy conserving processor selects fewer images for RF transmission to a remote image analyzer, resulting in increased power savings.

  • Patent number: 10885572
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for facilitating a sending of a gift from a first machine to a second machine may include a processor of a computer server reviewing a first list of one or more names of people maintained in a computer database. The processor may review context information related to the one or more names to determine if a moment exists for sending a gift from a first machine to a second machine. Each of the one or more names is associated with a respective second machine. The processor may automatically generate a second list of one or more names of people associated with a moment for receiving a gift. The processor of the computer server may receive from a first machine a selection of at least one of the names on the second list who have been identified as associated with a moment for receiving a gift.

  • Patent number: 10057713
Abstract: A system for and a method of providing enhanced services by using machine-based wireless communications of portable computing devices (PCDs) are described. More specifically, a system for and a method of efficiently and effectively projecting, in a controlled fashion, a user's profile to a service provider's PCD in anticipation of an expected interaction between the user and the service provider. The user's profile may comprise content related to identification, current physical location, personal preferences, etc. The system and method may emphasize proactively controlled projection of private/personal information, proactively controlled use of PCD resources, and proactively controlled use of communication network resources.
